No, while the nicene creed is not the totality of Christianity it is a great way to summerize the christian faith. What do you mean by the ideals of men? There is no mention of virtues. The majority of it is a summary on the nature of the trinity. Jehova witnesses, and Mormons, like the BOND group are a cult because they reject the divinity of Christ. This is not only heretical but by definition they cannot be Christian because they do not believe in Jesus as God. This is also known as Arianism.…

that is a relief in regards to the holy spirit, thank you I will keep praying for my brother, and no I'm not currently being discipled. I took a break from my church as I couldn't find any fellowship and I got tired of feeling no recipocation, nor inclusion in the congregation. i been trying to find a new one in my area. of the last two i checked out. One made me uncomfortable as the pastor called me out from the crowd and insisited he just healed my shoulder and the other was very secular like …

Unfortunately my brother lives in a different state, and is not currently interested in fellowship with me nor with any of the local churches near him. And yes I definitely still am working on my theology. nicene creed is start not standard I know from sidebar that the focus is on discipleship as a sign of producing fruit. That we are supposed to make disciples who make disciples. But I may be missing another part and have to reread. ordainment is the goal not sacrament I think I see what you me…

I agree I think its situational. While there are a few blasphemous subgenres (black metal). I think it is largely about the lyrics and tone. Theocracy is a powermetal band that evangalizes the Gospel. And Lecrae has many rap songs about the power of prayer and repentance. Some "church" bands (Hillsong) seem Christian. But sing songs about Man's glory and attempting to put US on a equal throne with G-d which is both wrong and spiritually dangerous. Some artists like DMX have mixed songs as they f…

Bud you are way overanalyzing this, and over explaining something you can say in a sentence or too. So tough love time: I hated my body and worked out. Good I hate your face despite claiming 50x the attention from working out Who cares? Are you a female? Women derive SMV from Appearance, men from Productivity and Status (connections, wealth, etc). You haven't even read the sidebar so why are you posting questions? A big problem people especially myself run into is asking questions from human per…

Thats a relief. Yeah if we take out the top 20% of ALL, who are more likely to be in other circles; that shifts everyone up 20%. So makes those women attainable. Ie big fish small pond. Thanks.

First thank you for the thorough article, it makes a strong case to seek virginity. Now you made the argument for roughly 1 in 8 (12.5%) of young women at churches or social clubs as meeting the standards in order to minimize chance of divorce. Now from my understanding women will date up not down. So in order to date the top 12.5% I have to be in the top 12% of young men. So at 29/30 I would want 23-26 as my ideal age range, so in your recommended range but at the tail end of that. To me this s…

I thought about it and you are right. It used to be real easy for me to talk to girls in college but now it feels very awkward talking with women. And even feeling awkward trying to make freinds with other men for that matter. The less I have been social the more I had been beating myself up, and blaming other people for mistakes that I regret from my past. I am going to stay away from online dating even with covid. But your right that I need to get start branching out. I have found 3 church/too…

I'm guessing that your saying that things that seem unbearable now wont seem so bad later. Or with things that simply or terrible that I can laugh later thinking "holy sh*t I cant believe i went through that". I haven't experienced this yet so I'm just guessing. No but I will start lifting weights. Do you have any suggested reading on changing the state of my heart so I can allow jesus to change me? My heart is filled with bitterness, envy, and anger. I have really struggled with changing my hea…
