Did anyone else actually have a great childhood with loving parents but still struggle with dating and relationships? Are you sure about that ??? I would think that most women would find my story sadly pitiful and want nothing to do with me. I can't tell by your Reddit name.....are you male or female ? Just curious by your response as to what point of view your response came from. | /r/seduction | 12/01/22 02:29 AM
Did anyone else actually have a great childhood with loving parents but still struggle with dating and relationships?Yeah, I have been in therapy for quite awhile now and it's not really helpful. I have been on practically every medication out there and nothing seems to help. I take that back, I don't wake up crying every day anymore or go to sleep crying. But I do tear up if I see certain things on tv that triggers some emotion with me. It can be something that is meant to be funny or serious or it can be about a husband and wife or father and daughter because for some reason even though I did nothing wrong t… | /r/seduction | 12/01/22 02:23 AM
HelpHey, you are not alone.. I am 54, I was married for 19 years and with my no ex-wife for 23 + years we were each other's first and onlys up until she slept with a married man anyways. I never had any self esteem growing up and was to shy to ask a girl to date. Which is odd because I was also the loud mouth class clown life of any party, but when it came to girls I clammed up, would turn red and somehow get a joke out to make them laugh but the joke was usually me making fun of myself. So now I've… | /r/seduction | 08/01/22 08:05 PM
A man hit on me in a coffee shop, and although I’m taken, it was really adorable.I wish I had that man's confidence. I know that I am a nice guy. I am polite and respectful but I have zero confidence in myself. My parents brought me up kinda like, if you are in a situation how would you want for example your sister or your grandmother to be treated. Another example.. if I was working at say a Walmart and a elderly lady came in and had a problem with something that was not the stores responsibility. Would I want someone to just say sorry you need to call the manufacturer or w… | /r/seduction | 01/01/22 03:49 AM
Did anyone else actually have a great childhood with loving parents but still struggle with dating and relationships?Unfortunately, I think that you are right. Probably 95% of the younger/ younger looking women seem to be looking for the type of guy you described. And I am nothing like that at all. | /r/seduction | 01/01/22 02:27 AM
Did anyone else actually have a great childhood with loving parents but still struggle with dating and relationships?Yes, I had a great childhood and upbringing. Parents were married for 63 years and my Father loved my Mother so much that he passed away on the morning of her funeral. My now ex-wife cheated on me after being together for 23 years and married for 19. I was going through many major health issues including depression when she decided to sleep with a married man. I found out when I got on the computer to confirm some reservations I made for our anniversary. She never turned the computer off she wou… | /r/seduction | 01/01/22 02:10 AM
