Just had a 5.5 hour "nap" on the couch. It's 1am and I am wide awake. Completely fucked it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 11:49 PM

My best mate is married to my ex's best mate. They hate her, even though me and her are friends and did not end on bad terms. It's... complex lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 03:41 PM

Depends where you live, I guess. Places where women automatically get allocated a portion of the man's net worth - you're fucked. Other places - not so big a deal. I recommend not living in the former, but also recognise that some don't have a choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 03:04 PM

I wouldn't go that far. I view marriage much the same as women do: while it works, it works. If it no longer serves you, then leave it. Not a huge deal. We're not living in nineteen canteen anymore - ending a marriage isn't some huge sacrilege.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 02:58 PM

Hope you're doing alright bruv 💪

I'm not redpill, so answering here. Disclaimer: I've actually never been rejected - did very well dating, in fact, including on OLD which is apparently "brutal". Happily married now. But you likely wouldn't call me attractive. Bad face, below average height. Wasn't willing to get expensive surgeries, and did fine without them. That's all there is to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 12:41 PM

Ah, right. I thought you meant "normal" fat i.e. BMI around 30. If we're talking BMI 40+ then no, that's freakish. He'll be perceived worse every time.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 12:23 PM

The first, but only because of "smelly". Bad hygiene trumps all. If it was fat/slovenly but with height/good face, he'd be perceived in a more positive light than the short/ugly fellow.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 12:17 PM

Q4A: For the men: You meet a woman and hit it off. In the early stages of dating, you find out that her most recent ex was a married man. She knew he was married when they got together, and she was essentially his sidepiece. Initially, she did not care that he was married. But as things progressed, she developed feelings for him. When he refused to leave his wife, she ended things. Would you continue seeing this woman? For the women: If the man in this scenario was your friend/brother, what woul…

Smoking, drinking and gambling is your own value judgement, but as for the rest of it - I seriously worry for your social circle if you don't think the average man does not meet that bar. What adult can't cook and clean?! Or can't hold a job.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 07:05 AM

A lot during the week when I'm bored at work - maybe 1 or 2 hours a day. Hardly any time at the weekend - 15 minutes a day maybe.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 10:57 PM

When women leave a little dribble of liquid in the bottom of cans, and then the good man throws the can in the recycling bin without checking, and then the good man's recycling bin has sticky cola bin juice at the bottom.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 08:35 PM

Dunno if that's anything to be envious of. I don't think our partner pickers are very well attuned when we're that young. If I was forced to be married to any of the women I was with in my early 20s, I'd likely have topped myself by now. Just hang in there and have fun for now. Plenty of time to settle down later.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 08:25 PM

Married. It's about a 50/50 split between in relationship and single on here, afaik.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 08:13 PM

Easier and less humiliating to justify why it's impossible for them than to actually take the social risk and try it for themselves, I suppose. I don't necessarily blame them - imo the younger generation of men have been feminised in to a state of inertia. Their extreme neurosis and fear is just a side effect of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 04:32 PM

I agree. I've experienced both pre-OLD dating, and post-OLD dating. It's much easier now.

Right, but the OP doesn't focus on looks at all in his post. Check out what he said: The same men who women want to be around the most, are the most social, the most charismatic, the most fun If you don't bring that male entertainment value then they don't want anything to do with you. He doesn't mention looks. So, the same question remains. If women want to be friends with fun, charismatic, social, and entertaining men - and these same men are the ones whom they want to date - would cultivating…

It actually might do the opposite. From what I gather from what you've said they dislike you because you're sneaky and circumspect. This is a show of trust, honesty, loyalty to your man. They might balk at first, but imo this is a good opportunity for image rehab.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 03:43 PM

By this logic: if you work on becoming the type of guy women want to be friends with, you will also have an easier time dating them. No?

In the interest of transparency, might be a good idea to show him. When I started seeing my wife, a woman I had been with previously started sending her some mental messages on her social media pages. I think I'd have been quite miffed if she hadn't shown me them. Hiding things just causes drama in the long run.

I don’t know a single man (that isn’t gay) that isn’t obsessed with like cars and football, cause all their friends are too. There’s also a disturbing amount of men with the exact same humour that only consists of slurs and rape jokes. Wow. Off-topic, but reading this is absolutely wild to me. Obviously I've met guys like that, but they're few and far between, and usually marginalised or isolated weirdos whom no one wants to be around. Sometimes reading Reddit makes you realise how different you…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 11:28 AM

Many here don't interact with people who look like that IRL. Instead, they base their opinions on stereotypes they've acquired from the media they consume. Which are, of course, overwhelmingly negative. It's just another symptom of the average Redditor's insularity.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 10:58 PM

Nah, this isn't a gendered thing. I've known lots of women who can't live on their budget, and are bitter about it. People in general are pretty terrible at managing their finances.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 08:02 PM

Where's the app that does this?

That's a strange way to describe mutual flirting. But if that's how you view the regular back and forth of a blossoming romance - then yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 06:12 PM

Tbf it's very common. But it's (obviously) not something that all women desire or look for. To insist they do is some kind of borderline fetish masochism, or self-flagellation. In my opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 05:54 PM

Nah, I totally disagree. A woman sitting there like a cabbage is a total turnoff. I'd have interpreted that as disinterest. Need a bit of push and pull.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 05:52 PM

How did I miss that part! 😂 It all moves so fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 05:28 PM

He said he wasn't sure if he could trust her with committment yet, so she fucked another dude, they had a big blowout then made up and went away on holiday together for a few weeks. They're engaged now and eloping in secret in a month or so, I believe. None of their friends and family know. It's the second wildest drama on PPD right now.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 04:16 PM

If that's what you want to do, then go for it. No point resisting your own impulses.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 03:52 PM

She's conflating two different issues, which is where the confusion is arising. By "rape kids for a living", she's talking about organised grooming gangs in the UK. Sentencing of these individuals is lax because it's a cultural/racial minefield that the authorities would rather avoid.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 03:51 PM

It's because you're fundamentally broken inside. Some people just are. What's happened now?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 03:40 PM

That's the problem with the globalised nature of online dating discussion. Third world ideas permeate the discourse, and then inexperienced and naive westerners who have lived their entire lives online adopt those ideas as their own, because they think it's the norm. Zero. But the guy's question wasn't "what do you want from a relationship"; it was "what do you want from a marriage." Not my fault those two things are exactly the same for me. I'm just answering what he asked.

Sure, it was all there before marriage. Getting married was just a good laugh and an interesting life experience. No one is obligated to get married to have a great relationship.

Just repeating what I've been told on here! Porn is apparently not only lucrative, but the epitome of feminism. I personally don't know anyone who makes more than minimum wage from their OF, but what do I know eh.

Probably controversial to say, but I think men will be better off without porn. Or rather, without as much porn. Fucked up a whole generation imo.

Disclaimer: not American, not in to porn. But isn't that punishing women? Less men using porn = less women earning money from OF and the like = sex work becomes a less lucrative and thus less attractive career option?

Tbh that's remedied quite simply too - either don't live in a country where your spouse can seize your assets, get a prenup, or... both! Or neither. No one is obligated to marry.

It's weird to put arbitrary time limits on these things. Especially one so short as 2 years. And I say this as someone who proposed after 18 months. I think everyone should be free to do what they want, but if the relationship was a good one then I reckon there's a high chance that she'll come to regret it in the future.

I prefer fluidity between the roles. My wife would probably be seen as "masculine" by those on here - she runs her own business, is outspoken, strong willpower etc. But at home she (and these are her words, not mine) "turns her brain off" and relies on me to take care of her. She's certainly capable of making decisions and caring for herself, but prefers the experience of being (incoming cringe) "babied" in private. This is the preferred situation for me too. I respect how bold and focused (masc…

We had the same dilemma and eventually got an espresso machine by Salter. It makes good espresso and has the steamer thing for other coffees too. Sturdy - mostly metal rather than plastic. And won't break the bank. If you have that brand where you are, I recommend it.

Right, but a young adult waiting to inherit his family's wealth is generally seen as a bit pathetic by women. Gotta do something for yourself in the meantime. Because what you're describing right now (unless I'm missing something) is a recipe for: easy time with women 18-22, hard time with women 23-40, easy time with women 40+ when you fully inherit. I'm only giving advice as someone a good bit older. "I am the idiot son" tends not to work with women past a very young age.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 03:53 PM
1

In that case, my opinion is that while you're young you should use your parents' money to have as much sex as possible without worrying about it being "special". Because in 3-4 years, "mum and dad are rich" will no longer be attractive to women. So use it while you can.

When I met my missus she had taken in a friend who was fleeing an abusive relationship. This woman smoked constantly, every day. One joint for every hour she was awake, pretty much. Couldn't get a job because it would cut in to weed time, and couldn't be be arsed to do anything including feeding herself or washing. Would get insanely grumpy and fly in to rages if she couldn't get a hold of green. Can't tell me that's not addiction.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 01:15 PM

I reckon so!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 09:33 PM

Always goth, alt, rockabilly type women. Childhood crushes included Faith from Buffy, Dita Von Teese, and Fairuza Balk in The Waterboy. Straight fringe with black/ginger hair has always been my weakness. Tried broadening my horizons a few times throughout my life, but it never truly worked out. I guess I am "typesexual".

Ya, I don't understand it when people say the opposite. For me, turn ons are purely visual. It's not often I run in to a woman who isn't kind. If it turned me on, I'd be walking around with a tentpole 24/7 and life would be unbearable.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 05:52 PM

Not turned on, no. Not for me, at least. Others may be different. Turned on = sexually aroused. A woman could be a total bastard, but hot. But if we're talking about pursuing a relationship or falling in love? Yeah, absolutely. Kindness is one of the things that can make that happen.

Ah, affair guy's ripped, husband's a fatty. Got it. If you prefer the husband's look, then tell affair fella to Amazon himself some of those high fat emergency rations that they drop in to war-torn, impoverished African nations. The ones where it looks like they're eating Vaseline straight from a giant tub. Beef him out a bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 02:26 PM

What type is he? And what type is the husband?

/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 12:35 PM

100% agree. 200lbs is BIG.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 12:22 PM

Yeah, it's not about being incapable of drawing male attention - she definitely could find someone. It's just going to be more difficult for her to do so than a woman who is 5'5" and 140lbs. Hence why she's writing to agony aunts for help, I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 12:21 PM

0 dedicated lesbian bars where I live. Kinda shocked at that tbh, as it's widely considered one of the most gay-friendly countries in the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 12:09 PM

This may be a male gaze/female gaze difference, but Ashley Graham's body is not attractive to me at all. And 5'11" is generally not considered to be an ideal height for a woman, regardless of weight. However, you are correct - having a large build is not necessarily a death sentence. Large women find partners all the time. Same for tall women. I'm sure there will be other factors at play. Unfortunately, without a picture there's no real way to tell, as far as that is concerned.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 11:53 AM

That's still very, very large. A female powerlifter at that weight would be considered at the upper end of the super heavyweight class. If you look at the women in this weight category, their bodies are quite far from the stereotypical feminine ideal. It's obviously going to be harder for someone built like that to attract a partner. And that's if we believe her to be extremely fit at that weight...
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 11:32 AM

5'11" and 195lbs. There's your problem right there.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 10:21 AM

What people are doing now doesn't change the music of the bands I like though. The genres I listen to were most active from the late 70s through to early 90s. Iggy Pop's music is still gonna be Iggy Pop's music regardless of whatever your modern they/them Starbucks barista "punks" are up to.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 09:22 AM

Absolutely not. Full of middle class left wing wet wipes these days.

Of course, but that's the whole jist of what I'm saying: Most people aren't sitting around allowing their lives to be policed by some made up Internet rules and standards. "But this is what Red Pill says!!!!" - right, but no one offline gives a fuck. It's like arguing about the rules of some fantasy game as if it's in any way real or consequential. This is not the way people who aren't glued to the Internet think or behave.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 03:31 PM

You'd better do something to make it more dramatic, and quick! People are losing interest already. This was a nothingburger update. We want Jerry Springer stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 03:14 PM

Ah, right. Time to get on Tinder and start up the second affair in the meantime.

I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at here. Correct me if I'm wrong. Bezos has married an extremely hot woman, who also seems to have a decent brain in her head. But because of his wealth he could technically have found other extremely hot women who are even younger than his wife. But because he didn't, and decided to go for that particular extremely hot woman who happens to be older, you're... angry about... something? That's where I'm lost. I don't get where the bitterness is coming…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 02:18 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 01:01 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 12:58 PM

You're definitely going to divorce. Just get the prenup so both of you are safe. It takes no time at all to draw up, and takes all worries off the table for both parties.

Yeah, Lauren Sanchez is really hot. Not "hot for 55", but genuinely hot for any age. That said, how many women look fantastic at that age? The "past 35" thing (as I understand it) is due to most people falling off in terms of looks in their mid-30s. It's not just some arbitrary 35=bad mental limit, except in the minds of the most unhinged men. Statistically, not many people upkeep their looks past a certain age. But your Sophia Vergaras and your Kylie Minogues will always be attractive to men of…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 12:49 PM

So a few weeks ago when he was hesitant to commit based on your past actions, you "punished" him by sleeping with someone else. Given such a recent history of instability and emotional decision making, don't you think it might be prudential to have a prenup put in place in the event that the marriage goes south and you decide to "punish" him by going after his family's assets?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 12:25 PM

Questions about the financial side of the marriage: If I remember correctly, you live off familial wealth and he is in training to become a doctor, is that correct? So are you going to get a prenup drawn up before the elopement?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 12:03 PM

Might as well escalate to physical consummation ASAP. Got nothing to lose, so go for it.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 08:11 AM

From what I saw, it's incredibly basic stuff. "Wyd" then the chat turns sexual. Essentially it's lowkey sexting, but she asks for donations whenever they escalate the intensity. A relationship was not on the cards for me, personally. But I'm sure loads of people would not have a problem with it.

Do I like what's going on in society right now? Absolutely not. I fight against it as much as possible. But from an evolutionary perspective, those who are able to adapt to adverse situations are the ones who survive. Holding the line, standing firm, and preserving one's culture in the face of adversity is in my view the best option. Not running away and starting again. (Besides, I love women so I'd probably go nuts and become a danger to the public after a few years in the incel society anyway.…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 07:52 AM

Big turn on. Intelligence is great. Although nerdy hobbies maybe not so much. Wouldn't fuck with a woman who likes anime, for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 07:38 AM

Answering for when I was single: 1) About 5%. 2) 100%. Never been rejected or declined. 3) Based on the above (not a massive attraction rate but excellent success rate), I'd say extremely well. 4) They make it super obvious. Go out of their way to be around you, touch you, laugh at everything you say, stand close to you, stare at you. There's just an overall vibe of positivity and interest in you, plus constant attempts to be physically close to you. It's pretty unmistakeable, imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 07:35 AM

I used to see someone who did it. Just solo content at the time, but she has progressed to hardcore these days. Which is madness in my eyes, but each to their own I suppose. The problem is the chatting with the subs, not the nudie pictures and vids. With OF you have to engage with your fanbase, because the dudes are paying for the parasocial pseudo-girlfriend experience. If you actually want a relationship with someone, this would likely become an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 07:29 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 08:48 PM

I knew you wouldn't be. You always keep it real 💪
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 08:30 PM

I'm going to be honest, but I don't want you to take it in an unkind way. Because I don't mean it like that in the slightest - it's just my opinion: I don't count "hobby jobs" are real work. Again, just me personally. No one needs to agree. In fact, feel free to think I'm an idiot for holding that view.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 08:27 PM

You're ill so you get a pass. Everyone else needs to graft though, in my view. I'm very much a "bootstrap" type person. But as I said - no one needs to justify themselves to me. This is just my own personal standards, and I barely expect anyone else to understand, never mind agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 08:19 PM

I'm definitely not the target demographic for this question since I'm a man and don't enjoy the "trad" dynamic. But may I speculate how I'd feel if I was in that situation? Personally, I think I'd struggle to maintain respect for the partner if they were a provider through inheritance anyway. It's just the antithesis of everything I believe in. I think inheritance/familial wealth is great - but I also think that it should be used to give future generations a leg up to develop and expand their ow…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 08:12 PM

I mean you definitely can keep the matches on! No real need to unmatch. I just felt it was a bit cluttered and pointless to do so. Didn't see any reason to keep someone on my match list if, realistically, I wasn't going to talk to/pursue anything with them. Plenty people do though.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 07:07 PM

Mostly good, in my opinion. The only thing that raises any further discussion, for me personally, is the "providing for" stuff. I come from a place where it is common for women to work, have careers, ambitions, their own money etc. So the "man as provider" thing isn't as big of an institution here, and kinda has connotations of financial dependence (which is not viewed positively). Each to their own though. If that's what you're looking for, then go for it. There are tons of people who like that…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 06:40 PM

Here's how I did it: Age - superfluous because the app only shows you people within the age range you've set, so that'll automatically be fine. Swipe based on looks judged by the first one, two, maybe three at a push pictures. Once matched, have a deeper look at the profile. Height - women tend not to put their height down anyway, so 90% of the time that field is blank. Education/line of work - again, women tend not to fill out this information on their profiles. Something you have to talk to th…

/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 03:27 PM

No, definitely not better in my opinion. Far worse, in fact. Where I live, my taxes pay for things that benefit me like road maintenance, libraries, water, public transport etc. But they also pay for things I don't support, like surgery for trans people and housing for refugees. However, I'd still rather my money go to some guy wanting his dick cut off, or some carpet flyer and his 10 kids crammed in one flat, than live under full ideological fascism.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 02:50 PM

Yeah they defo do. But surely people can differentiate between a girl who is newly 18 and a woman in her late 20s/early 30s? Bit of rudimentary critical thinking needs to be applied there, no?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 12:53 PM

Not shitting on your theory - because your opinion is your opinion - but my experience has been the opposite. "Older" women generally don't have any issues with our age gap. 8 years is "so what????" to them. It's the teenage blue haired club that have the biggest problem with it. "I've just turned 19 and I'm going to lecture you on how the world works" types.

This is the actions of someone with a very sad and lonely life, in my opinion. It's even worse because none of her "friends" in attendance told her how embarrassing this is. A public humiliation.

Fuck her, obviously. She's capable of making her own decisions in life. Friend can toughen up and get over it. It would never work out with him if she preferred me anyway, so imo there's no point in being polite about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 09:47 AM

They're really weird about it. I'm 39 and my wife is 31. On my old account I once had an American woman losing her shit at me because "what does a grown assman of 39 have in common with a literal child" etc etc. I'm being hyperbolic with the "literal child" line, but you know the sort of stuff that was being said. Nope. In fact, I don't think I've ever met a "whole" or "healed" person in my entire life. Everyone's got their issues. It's how the individual deals with them that matters more, imo. For us: I have OCD. I've kept it under control with therapy and medication for my entire life. It's very manageable, but it's never going to go away. And my wife has ADHD. My preferred analogy is blackjack. Only an idiot hits on a hand of 20, even although hitting at 20 is technically "settling" because it's not a perfect hand. 80% is like hitting on a hand of 16/17, I guess. I'd probably hit with that hand. So yes, I'd view 80% as an unacceptable compromise.

Hmmmm, I dunno. I thought American laws were pretty much: if you pull a gun, you have to be justified in using it? I just don't think even the threat of lethality is warranted here. Knocking the guy out? Absolutely. But it's not something anyone should lose their life over, in my opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 11:45 PM

Hard for me to say when guns aren't a thing where I'm from. Killing over this seems too severe, to me. My forehead connecting with the bridge of his nose? Justified. Although wtf is the wife doing letting it get that far in the first place? Relationship is on the rocks anyway imo if that is happening.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 11:38 PM

Ah, so gay men are good men. You're going to summon RedSand if you keep talking like this!
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 05:47 PM

There must be some objective way to judge it though?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 05:36 PM

How does one know whether they are a good man or a bad man? What are the metrics?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 05:30 PM

As a baseline, people here are quite horrible. There are some decent folk, but it's mainly a place for hurt people to scream in to the ether, and for the thick-skinned to popcorn munch at their antics. There are probably better subs for actual support. I haven't ever saw anyone "get better", or even improve in any tangible way, on here.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 05:12 PM

Yeah, that's going to be difficult. Only solution is to push yourself out of your comfort zone.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 04:58 PM

When you say introverted, do you mean "low capacity social battery" or do you mean "shy"?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 04:49 PM

That's interesting. If you could choose, where would you ideal life partner be from?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 03:48 PM

My wife is similar to this, I'd say. Driven, goal-oriented, emotionally stable, trains in a combat sport. Not as extreme as the hypothetical example he's given, but at least halfway there. She's the only person I've ever met in life whom I genuinely respect. I like a bit of masculinity in a woman, provided its also tempered with a softer side.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 03:46 PM

Fair enough - comes with the territory, I suppose. Do you think all this "practicing" on women from SEA might help you acquire a decent partner from your homeland in future, if you return there?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 03:38 PM

What's the longterm plan then, once you've sampled all the venereal diseases that these countries have to offer? Will you marry one of them?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 03:25 PM

With the exception of childcare, the things listed are all just superficial. They can be remedied simply by finding a new partner. Bit reductive to reduce womens' problems to "I can't brag with the girly pops any more", no?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 02:53 PM

I'd work a lot more, and spend a lot more. I'd spend recklessly, and allow myself to be a full blown alcoholic. First big expense would be to start collecting and riding motorcycles again.

So, I remember you saying that when your husband found out about your affair, you told him that it was a result of him not putting in enough effort. He agreed to put in more effort, and if I recall correctly, you said that he did. Taking you out on dates, being romantic towards you etc. Is that still the case? Or has his effort slipped? Trying to figure out the reason for you soft contemplating a second affair.

Yeah, I sympathise. It's gotta be difficult for women wanting to break in to the trades. When I was looking up the stats there (2-3% female workforce across the trades), I saw an article written by a female plumber about the prejudice and assumptions with which she has to contend. It's shit. No doubt it's an uphill battle, but at the same time we've normalised sex work before we've normalised having a female spark or roofer. Isn't that a bit fucked up? Surely I'm not the only one who sees how re…

True, but I looked up the stats for the country in which I live and it's still fairly woeful. 2-3% across the trades. These are good jobs, well paid. No reason more women shouldn't become qualified.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 10:19 AM

Women are disproportionally unrepresented in the trades, yes. It's always struck me as a strange gap in feminism that there hasn't been a bigger push for women to become trained in skilled manual labour jobs. Can't help feel that this post is lowkey pornbrained though. Very few tradesmen are going to want sex from a strange woman as payment. These men have wives and families. They're just going to sue her for non-payment, if it comes to that.

Use of hyperbole is an effective tool in rhetoric for simplifying a point... And also, it's PPD. You need to make people angry/shocked or you won't get responses. I'll rephrase again for you alone, but only because you're the body count queen and it's your specialist topic: "Do you think there is a middle ground where body count concern becomes understandable? Or is it never understandable. Why, or why not? Explain your working."
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 12:46 AM

Maybe I worded the post poorly. I'll do a summation what I meant the discussion to be: "Would you view someone who takes pause at the revelation of their partner having 500 previous bodies as negatively as you view someone who demands 'virgin or bust'? If so: why? If not: also why? And on top of that, do you think there is a rough number at which concern over body count is understandable?" It's so bad, and only got worse since I was dating. Because our drug laws are very lax, it's really not seen as a big deal at all. Yep, this is the grey area that my question is intended to explore. Even for me nearing 40, there are only 2 people I know who have this amount of bodies - one is a sex addict whose wife dumped him for seeing escorts during her pregnancy, and one is a literal porn actress. It's a lot.

I don't think I have a reputation as being paranoid, no? You'd have to ask others, I suppose. Although it would be odd if that was the case, given how free I am with sharing pictures of and information about myself. Paranoid people tend to protect their identity, not be so blaze about it. Frankly, I'm rather hurt you don't remember me. I'll make an effort to be more provocative this time. I certainly seem to have got you going today. I disagree that the average person is quite as fearless as you purport to be though. I'm significantly more of a risk-taker than almost everyone I know, but your stance is extreme even to me. So to sum up your viewpoint: for you, there is absolutely no number of prior partners that would give you concern for a person's future fidelity - is that correct?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 03:27 PM

I guess I don't subscribe to the idea that ALL insecurities are negative/indicators of poor character/whatever. I think insecurity has its place, as long as it is tempered with a healthy dose of reality. It's not all or nothing, for me. There's a very big difference in my mind between someone who has had 50 partners, and someone who has had 500. That may be insecurity - granted - but personally I don't view it as an unreasonable one. I'm interested in where each individual draws the line with th…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 03:08 PM

I imagine in most cases it's a fidelity concern. I personally find it ridiculous if someone thinks a partner count within the normal range is a red flag for infidelity. But on the other hand, I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that someone with a body count of 400 might find it difficult to stay faithful.

This may be news to you, but some women actually have autonomy and goals of their own, and those may not align with yours, or those of the mainstream. Her attitude to life was "I'm here for a good time, not a long time" and she made that very clear from the start, so I doubt she wanted or expected commitment from me either.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 02:38 PM

Q4A: Do you think there's a reasonable middle ground to body count concern, or is ANY concern over body count deemed to be unacceptable/unattractive/insecure? For example, would the man who takes pause upon finding out that his partner's body count is in the triple digits be viewed just as unfavourably as the man who demands virginity or nothing?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 02:27 PM

I do not support sex work, including OF. I think it creates a culture of addiction, disrespect, and objectification. And I cannot support that. I am a bit of a hypocrite as I did date an OF model a few years ago, however I neither expected nor wanted committment from her. We had a nice time together, but that's as far as it could go. You're describing men who aren't in touch with their partners, or even themselves. Women give a ton of signs and signals that a relationship is going poorly. If her partner can't pick up on them, that's his failing. And if you consistently pick people like that/are surrounded by people like that then again - need to reexamine the individuals with whom you associate. It's like saying "most people put minimum effort in to their jobs". That's true if your social circle is made up of people who work…

I'll give you that - there does seem to be a disproportionately large number of Redditors who seem to be unable to function in normal/healthy relationships. My wife is friends with their partners, and she's the biggest gossip on the planet. If there was disharmony, I'd know about it as soon as she could send me a salacious text. And besides; I'm neither blind nor an idiot. I can see what good relationships look like when they're in front of my face based on the behaviours of both parties.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 12:55 PM

Your partner picker must be way off then. What you're describing is low effort behaviour by a selfish person who views their other half as a convenience or commodity.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 12:50 PM

Every guy in my friend group loves and respects their partner, and acts as an equal in the relationship in terms of effort. To me, good relationships are normal. Of course, a man can't physically give birth so there's always an imbalance surrounding pregnancy if you choose to have kids, but that's an unfortunate inevitability due to biology. If you're seeing the opposite a lot, perhaps it's the company you keep?

You're a prostitute, right? Or am I mixing you up with another poster? /r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 12:35 PM

Valid as fuck, I'm perpetually in the same boat. My mates of 20 years don't even reply when I suggest going for a pint in the group chat. Then they whine and complain that they never leave their houses or socialise. Figure that one out. I just go for the pint myself and talk to randoms. I suggest doing the same. It's fun. Men have been doing it for decades. I think it's our collective lot in life to reach the point where we get sick of doss cunts and just start doing shit on our own.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 07:27 AM

She sounds ideal. "Wild phase" gives a bit of pause for concern, but provided it was just normal stuff like going a bit overboard with the booze and staying out late (and not anything serious like prostitution, porn, gangbangs, drug use "worse" than coke, crime worse than simple assault or theft), it's all good.

Despite my minor aversion to these apps in general, that is very cute.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 12:31 PM

For me: Used one with an ex because her job involved visiting people's homes. Her coworkers had some horrific experiences, so she was vigilant about always having a record of where she was and when. Other than that, I'm not a fan. I don't like the idea of being tracked myself, and wouldn't enjoy a relationship dynamic where I felt I had to monitor my partner's movements (with the exception of safety reasons, of course).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 12:20 PM

Q4A: What are your opinions on the use of phone tracking apps in relationships, and the people who use them. Smart? Insecure? Weird? Practical? Do you or have you used an app like this to monitor your partner's location? How would you react if your partner asked you to install such an app on your phone?

For me, personally: I don't make many bids. Maybe one per day. I can't recall a time that my wife didn't respond. She's the opposite. Maybe 60-70 bids for attention per day. I try to respond to them all, but sometimes it's just not possible (I'm at work; I'm driving; I'm using a bandsaw and don't want severed fingers). My response rate is probably around 95%.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 07:34 PM

Furthermore, how many of these bids should be accepted in order to maintain relationship satisfaction? 100, with a response rate of 90%? Or is 100 per day cloying? 10, with a response rate of 90%? Etc etc. Feel free to describe how it works in your relationship/your ideal relationship. Apologies for the super-clinical wording. Trying not to impart any of my own opinion in to the questio…

I agree with that too tbh. I'll rephrase: I didn't prioritise finding ANY relationship. I prioritised finding the right relationship. And I don't think that's a shameful thing. I'm a loverboy and it was important to me, so I set a goal and saw it through.

Definitely right with that first part. Relationships can start out fine without money, but yeah... quickly fall apart. Been there. My advice is to get in to the trades, if you can. I think that's a bit different though. I don't think that's true attraction. What you described is settling. Which I don't doubt some women do. But I think a fair amount genuinely get the fanny flutters for guys most others would say "...really?" about. Human taste is a strange thing. I've liked some weird looking women in my time. To be fair I'm not saying every dude on here acts like this, but I've saw it enough to notice a trend. More than a few self-professed alpha geniuses here are underqualified NEETs who are terminally unsuccessful in love. Disdainful analogy is a response to the idea that people avoid single parents out of fear or insecurity. If a single parent says "each to their own, no one is obligated to date anyone", most respect it and stay quiet. But when they say "you're just scared/insecure!", that's when they get the truth bomb. Glass houses and throwing stones.

She had a popular cosplaying Instagram account, and built the OF from that user base - people who went to cosplay conventions in nearby cities etc. I'd guess 25% of her subscribers lived within a 100 mile radius. Yeah. I used to work behind a bar, which is a recipe for unwanted attention. I was in a relationship at the time, so was not interested no matter how attractive the woman was. But when people are drunk, their ability to understand "no" is impaired. On top of that, many mistake basic customer service friendliness for flirting. And on top of that, there's the power dynamic of customer/low paid worker, which can make people feel entitled to whatever they want from you.

Met my wife on Tinder. Neither of us had a bio - just pics and the tags/basic info filled out. One had a breakdown and called me a fggot because I cancelled a date due to the death of one of my cats, and the other ended things after I revealed that I had OCD and treated it with medication and therapy (which she deemed "feminine"). Neither were trauma-dumpy situations; just "yo I need to deal with this/this is how things are, just letting you know" ty…

Good advice mate - thanks. I've been on the scams subreddit, and found a few posts detailing the exact same process he described to me, with pictures of the exact same app he showed me. Trouble is, I doubt he'll read the posts if I sent him the links. So videos are an excellent solution to that. I know he'll react badly initially, so I'm going to present the info to him in the kindest way possible, and make sure that he knows that I'm just looking out for him as a neighbour and a pal. Sorta impa…

Genuine request for advice: I have a neighbour (mid 50s) who is a really nice guy, but not the sharpest tool in the shed. I dropped in on the way home from work to see his new cat, and he told me about the "business" his "friend" has helped him create. It's an online shop on a platform called TTMall. His "friend" (a stunningly beautiful woman who claims to be a millionaire living in America) has given him £500 to stock his inventory so he can sell stuff. The plan is that she gets her seed money …

100% spot on. Arranged marriages are the situations most frequently affected by this dynamic, but because the Internet is so globalised and people are unable to filter for context, inexperienced Westerners erroneously get the impression that it's likely to happen to them too. Same thing with femcel/pink pill beliefs. A lot of them use the instance of a group of men gangraping a lizard to death as a supposed example of mainstream male behaviour. Yes, the lizard thing happened - IN INDIA. But for …

A lot of the things on that list designated for "hot men only" is pretty standard stuff though. And conversely, a lot of the "non-hot men" things listed are more indicators that your partner just doesn't like or respect you. I dunno about the rest of you, but this just isn't representative of what I see IRL...

Because 14 year olds are not sexually attractive to a psychologically normal modern man. When I was a kid, you'd see builders and boy racers whistling at/jeering at prepubescent or barely pubescent girls. Every woman my age has had this experience, and I saw it a million times myself back in the day. Rarely happens now, according to my friends' daughters. Personally, I don't think it's just down to social attitudes changing - I think the male taste has largely matured as well. I'm not your class…

I don't think as much as either of those numbers. It's 14 in China, and yet most people still adhere to age appropriate pairings. I'm going to say 1%. But if you also remove the social stigma as well as the law, I'd raise it to 20%.

Sydney Sweeney makes room 1 the winner for me. Woman on bottom of that column is also extremely attractive. Room 3 is runner up because of Elizabeth Olsen and Megan Fox. Room 2 on bottom, as I can't really see Anne Hathaway in a sexual manner, and I have no idea who the other two are.

That's hilarious, but also quite scary. I had a similar experience on my old account (although not with Sharp - tbf she's always been sound to me) where one of the regular female posters accused me of lying about being married, then accused me of hiring actors to pose for a fake picture when I showed her my wedding photos. Much like you, I was active on the other Discord, and pretty much every regular has saw dozens of pictures of me. So it's a pretty odd accusation, but there ya go. Do you know…

Right, well there are different kinds of ugly and different solutions for each one. Fat ugly? Lose weight. Skinny ugly? Work out. Short ugly? Wear lifts or shoes with thick soles. Bad hair ugly? What I find ironic is the demeaning language they use as well. It's always "getting pussy", and "getting bitches" with these people. Stereotypical "bro talk" that would get you a slap round the chops from your mates if you actually spoke that way, and would give any women in the vicinity the instant ick if they heard it.

I read an article about the phenomenon. Basically, we're overwhelmed by technology and social media. We get bombarded by constant low-level social interaction, and this drains our mental batteries. So we feel all social-ed out, but we've not made any deep or satisfying emotional connections. Hence widespread feelings of loneliness.

No issues with it. I did the same for 8 years. Had 3 cats and 1 dog with my ex. I took the two cats that were "mine", she took "her" dog and our "shared" cat. He (the cat) came to mine when she went away on holiday, and we halfed in for his medical bills as he had a number of complex needs that were quite expensive. Where I live, this is seen as being different from regular prostitution, and I find the disparity in perceptions to be quite bizarre. Yeah, sure. It's like: she's an adult with (presumably) her own job and money. I can't see any reason why she'd need charity from her friends. Different story if she said "listen, I'm struggling for money right now, can you guys cover me for the night?", but that doesn't seem to be the situation here. This would be interpreted as begging, where I come from. And would be viewed quite shamefully.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/25 04:23 PM

That's why I said "the right one". If someone is making your life harder, the juice isn't worth the squeeze. All I can speak to is my own experience: Bad partner = life is shit. No partner = life is fine. Meh partner = life is fine. Good partner = life is great. But if others don't feel the same, that's their business. I am not gonna police others' emotions, y'know.

As much as one needs a mobile phone, or the Internet. It's not an absolute necessity, but life is better when you have it. I'm sure there are many who feel that they have no need for a romantic companion, but in my opinion life is sweeter when you have (the right) one.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/25 03:57 PM
2

We're all psychologically different, of course. But that never occurred for me. Connection in a romantic sense has never been an option if there wasn't physical attraction first. And that's not changed from age 15ish until (a ballhair away from) 40. Maybe I'm just extra-shallow, or perhaps it's low level sociopathy or something else. But I always needed that physical connection, even if we got along like a house on fire. Just doesn't work otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/25 03:03 PM

I have no qualms with others PPBing for love or even sex. But imo this is humiliation. It's branding. With a cheap tshirt instead of heated a metal rod, but similar psychology. I know they're just whores, and only after your money. But at the same time, they aren't the ones that hurt you in your home country... Slippery slope towards sadism, in my opinion. But do what you want, I don't really care. Just a perspective.

I guess I fundamentally disagree with that, for the reason that if the vast majority of people around you have easy access to something, then it is no longer a privilege. So essentially, I don't really subscribe to the lib-left idea that we're all living lives of privilege. Certainly, my life is more privileged than an individual born in Sierra Leone, for example. /r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 05:25 PM
2

I wouldn't really call driving a privilege, personally. Ditto for Internet, mobile phones etc. These things are accessible to ~97% of the population in the country where I live. Regardless of class, wealth, or social status. Privilege, as I see it, has to mark one out as significantly advantaged compared to the rest of their peers. So being born in to wealth, being particularly attractive, being extraordinarily intelligent etc. For me, in order to be privileged one must be an outlier.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 05:23 PM

I wouldn't say so, since most people are able to access these things. A privilege, by necessity, should be a rarity. No?

Uuuuurgh that's where it gets murky for me. I just don't have faith that another person would be able to put in the effort if they weren't extremely attracted to me. Whereas I know myself, and I know my own capabilities. If that makes sense. Perhaps that's selfish.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 03:54 PM
1

Good questions. I can only speak from my personal experience, which is: I have approached every relationship I've ever had with the same amount of effort. The variable factor was the amount of effort my partner put in. I found that the more physically attracted to me that they were, more effort they put in. And thus, the relationship was better for both parties. Because our efforts matched. I guess this only works if you are the type of person who always puts in the same level of effort regardle…

Relative youth and inexperience. Americans aren't ready for a leader who doesn't look like they've crawled out of a mortuary. Also the popular perception of her is too tied to mid 2010s-2020s "wokeness", the popularity of which is on the decline. So she'll need a bit of an image rehab to gain widespread appeal. Yeah, I get that. But my recommendation is to shift your focus from the macro (marriage as an institution) to the micro (your personal situation). It's like the difference between nihilism and existentialism. Nihilism = life has no inherent meaning, therefore there's no point in doing anything. Existentialism = life has no inherent meaning, therefore I am free to choose my own meaning. Marriage as an institution is failing, but that doesn't mean individual marriages can't be happy and successful…

I don't do this, so don't come at me as if I do. Just explaining. You wanted an explanation, right? It's a common cognitive distortion. Most people assume that someone they do not find attractive DOES find them attractive. And it hurts fee fees when it is pointed out that they do not. Similar to "you can't fire me because I quit" type thinking. Although that analogy may not be the best. Both men and women do this. But I can admit that men tend to do it more often.

So, slavery. If slavery was legal, I'd use the slave as an extra pair of hands on all the DIY projects I need to get done in exchange for her manumission. We can redo the garage roof, insulate the attic, build a sunroom, and plane the tops of the interior doors. If she hands me all the correct tools when I ask for them, she can go free when we finish.

Never been with a woman with a septum piercing, but a freakishly high percentage of women I've been with in the past 15 or so years have had nostril rings or studs. At least 75%. Clearly I have a type. In my experience - no. No truth to it. They vary along the same scale of sane/insane, traumatised/not traumatised, obnoxious/pleasant, loyal/disloyal as any other demographic. Caveat: obviously the dating history of one man isn't a peer-reviewed academic journal. Personal anecdotes are all I have.…

Not a woman, obviously. But I've done this for years. My hair is dark brown and my eyebrows are mid-blond. I dye 'em to the same colour as my hair every few months because it looks better when they match. I'm sure the women here will tell you that's an ick/red flag, but IRL none have ever had a negative reaction. Most in-depth interaction I've had around it was - they find my Just For Men in the bathroom cabinet, ask what it's for. I say making my eyebrows the same colour as my hair. They say "o…

Fair enough - I was just asking. Honest explanation, which I appreciate. I hate the way people do that though. It's so childish, and makes me think much less of them. Regardless of gender. But I suppose that's just the way people prefer to interact.

Yeah, I know all about that kind of thing. My wife is Slavic and has bright red hair, so her school experience involved people drawing swastikas on her locker and attempting to set her hair on fire with lighters while they walked behind her in corridors. Unlike you I guess, she avoids places like this. Because her experiences taught her how nasty people can be, and she wants no part of that. But that's beside the point - I was just asking because you seemed to be saying that no one has ever insu…

Ohhh I dunno about that. Since my (temporary) return, I've noticed a LOT more female incels here than there used to be. Maybe it's just an anomaly this week though. Agree on the Redsand diaryposting though. I respect his dedication.

Help me understand, please. I've saw men call women whores because the woman has done something to piss the guy off. And like the majority of people, I think the men who do that look pretty pathetic. I've also saw women calling men incels because the man has done something to piss her off. I also think this behaviour makes that woman look pathetic. Why are the two different?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 10:59 AM
1

Yup, this is exactly what I'm trying to highlight. On here I've been called an incel loser virgin because I have a vasectomy. I'm currently getting told on another thread that I should be in jail because I am 39 and my wife is 31. And that's what I get when I come here to discuss the philosophy of gender in an objective manner. Guys who actually have something to complain about get much more vitriol. So it's significant that a gay man is not getting unhinged hate from deranged female posters.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 10:31 AM

Totally valid. Not saying he's 100% right. His bias obviously colours his perspective. I'm just shocked at how reasonably he's being treated for expressing his opinions. Very different response than what he'd get if he was straight, imo.

He's a based queen. Interesting that he's saying the same stuff I've saw a lot of men get called incels on here for, yet no one has called him such.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 09:59 AM
2

Interesting. Last question: Under the rules of the state of New Femcellia - An 18 year old and a 25 year old (which most people rightfully see as a bit creepy) is absolutely fine, because it fits in with the half plus 7 rule. However, the 38 year old with a 25 year old (viewed by most people as two fully formed adults) is rape, and should be punished with a more severe sentence than murder. Am I following correctly?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 09:00 AM
5

So 13 years in jail for the 38 year old who sleeps with the 25 year old, yeah? Interesting, because 13 years is more than the average sentence for murder where I live (those convicted of murder serve on average 9 years in custody here). So essentially, in your ideal world a 38 year old would be better off killing a 25 year old than sleeping with them. Pretty wild stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 12:26 AM
8

Wow, that's wild. I live in northern Europe. Average age of first marriage is 36 for men, 34 for women. Your situation sounds challenging.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 05:34 PM
21

That wasn't my experience dating when I was 32-36. Fair enough - more women of that age have kids. And that limited my pool somewhat, as I didn't date parents. But if you keep yourself looking good, you can absolutely appeal to the 26-29 single crowd. Who cares if some crackpot online tries to shame you for dating with an age gap? Women in their late 20s aren't babies. Disregard those who claim otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 04:58 PM
7

A few questions: What should be the sentence for a 38 year old who gets with a 25 year old? Jail? For how long? Should he/she be put in the sex offenders' wing? Cellmates with a guy who raped a baby, for example? Generally, criminal charges are only pursued when it is in the interest of public safety. To what extent do you believe the person in that hypothetical example is a danger to the public?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 02:50 PM

You can be an incel and be married/in a relationship, apparently. So it stands to reason that the same logic applies to the term femcel. No?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 12:14 PM

Hesitant to answer considering I'm a mix of many pills, but I have been described by others on here as "old school red pill", so take that with a pinch of salt. But yes, this describes me perfectly. Never been angry about dating. Overall, I had a good time when I was doing it, and now I'm happily married. Sure - I encountered some shit people and had a couple of bad experiences, but that's just life. And FWIW, the attitudes which have caused me to be described as old school RP are: you won't get…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 08:35 AM

Meh, depends on where you live, I suppose. Here, transitioning gender is fully funded by taxpayer money. Can't really say that society is against you when the government allocates public money for surgeries and hormones. That's the very definition of mainstream establishment support. I'm not saying men are the ultimate victims here (and I actually think looksmaxxing with surgeries is a bad idea for men, although I would be a massive hypocrite to critique anyone else considering my own "extreme" …
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 07:43 AM

That's a false equivalent, and you know it. Teen girls are basically groomed by society to value their looks over everything else, hence why it's acceptable and even encouraged for them to get cosmetic surgery and be extremely concerned with their looks. They have the backing of society in this matter. Whereas society shames men for being concerned with their appearance to the same extent. A man undergoing cosmetic surgery will be called insecure at best, fggot at worst by most.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/25 07:11 AM

A bit crude but really you did nothing wrong. If that's too much for him then he's a fucken square. Don't stress over it.

Right, but the topic is about traits men have that make you feel unsafe. Unsafe = someone that will cause you harm, surely. And the OP - presumably a grown adult man - says that he feels unsafe around men in leather jackets, and (again, presumably) thinks that women might feel the same way. You don't think that's... strange?!
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 04:35 PM
1

Right okay, but surely you see the difference between harmlessly shocking an overly-nervous Redditor and actually being a bad person to your partner/pets/family/friends, right? I'll concede that "edgy" aesthetic can indicate that someone may have a bit of an "edge". But I really struggle to make the connection to the terror and aversion which it seems to inspire in many PPD posters. It's just not the way people I know IRL behave.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 04:13 PM
2

My style is just my style. I look the way I do because (I think) it suits me. And I just find it funny that the PPD demographic (broadly speaking, men and women who struggle with relationships) find that scary/an indicator of low moral character, while "normal" people never seem to have such a reaction. I don't know if tone is perhaps getting lost via the Internet here, but what you term "getting mad" is more like "find it slightly confusing but humorous at the same time". Like your average PPD …

Fair enough - you seemed to come in as big ragin' caboose there, but I see how that can be misinterpreted. I'm very direct too, so you're likely doing the same thing with me. Anyway, this doesn't really matter. All I'm saying is that I've saw lots of "women love bad boys and abusers" type comments over my time on here that, when the poster is pressed to expound upon what they mean, they reveal that their idea of "bad boy abuser" is simply someone who has a couple of tattoos and wears a leather j…

Woah, hold on. I never said it was all or only women. You're flying off the handle for no reason here. I said it was "PPD people", which includes men and women. The OP who said it here is a man. It's just something I've noticed. People who post here seem more likely to believe negative stereotypes about others based on their fashion choices. Compared to people I socialise with IRL, anyway. If you've got a problem with me making that observation, then that's a you problem, not a me problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 02:41 PM
3

I guess our definitions of antisocial/intimidating are just different. Someone would have to be in a swastika-patterned morph suit and balaclava for me to find them frightening. I just can't imagine being scared of someone wearing a leather jacket. It's so innocuous to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 02:33 PM

Check the other person replying to me. They're a woman and they think that this style/type of fashion is indicative of poor moral character.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 01:40 PM

All I'm saying is that if you're struggling with something that most regular people find easy, then the problem likely isn't the fashion choices of others. Goes for men and women both.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 01:38 PM

I give you the same answer I give to guys who insist that all women who have tattoos/have alt style/wear makeup/wear miniskirts/whatever are whores: The problem lies within you, not them.

Just commenting on something I've noticed among PPD posters: they're often frightened by people who look like the stereotypical "bad boy" you see in 80s movies. Ripped jeans, leather jackets, tattoos etc. I wonder how much of that fear is shaped by real life interaction, and how much of it is influenced by trope-laden depictions in the media. No doubt the average PPDer would avoid me like the plague, because I look like this. But in actuality, I'm mostly harmless. And the most unhinged and dange…

These are fun. Once again, answering hypothetically/on behalf of me from an alternate universe. 1. Would you date a woman who uses cocaine at least once a month? No. Cocaine use is one of my biggest dealbreakers. 2. Would you date a woman who doesn't like drinking alcohol? As long as she doesn't mind me drinking, then sure. 3. Would you date a woman who doesn't like doing physical activity? As long as she keeps in shape, yes. Liking it is inconsequential. 4. Would you date a woman who voted for …

Imo it's because so many of the posters here have autism. Successful dating requires nuance, which is something most here struggle with. Hence their overreliance on facts and statistics in lieu of adaptive real life experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 04:55 PM

I think that's fairly obvious, yeah. They've all been damaged by some past experience (or preemptively damaged by spending their formative years online reading the traumatic experiences of others), and are stuck in a cycle of nihilism and projection as a result. Imo the next 5-10 years are going to be very lucrative for therapists who specialise in rehabilitating femcel types who finally want to heal.

Hehe I'm only temporarily visiting 👀 Maybe try of those walking pad things? They're like cheap, portable treadmills. Plonking it in front of the TV and walking once per day for the duration of an episode of Judge Judy will have the weight flying off.

Yeah man that's really dangerously overweight. Are you actively trying to lose it?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 07:59 AM

Hey mate. Try your local FB marketplace, particularly around areas with student accomodation. Lots of students moving out post-exams, and they often cba carting their TV back home with them. Sometimes you can bag one dirt cheap.

Forget what I said about Airdrie there btw. You're right - they're up for relegation. I am losing the plot. Too engrossed in the snooker this past month.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 08:12 PM

Ayr is the match on right now; 1-0 against Partick Thistle which is no mean feat consider last time they faced off PT absolutely pumped them. Airdrie most likely going up, and I reckon St. Johnstone will be going down. Tbh I think the Rodgers/Celtic pairing is a good one. His previous tenure was quite successful. Although I quietly suspect he's embarrassed by Scottish football.
