It is moral if you think other peoples happiness matters. I don't think this is a simple logical mistake, your core belief is that other peoples happiness doesn't matter. Granted, this is a secular position, and your religion may tell you differently, but most of them also tell you leave judgment to God. We have these things called prisons. Few people disagree with their existance. This is almost always about the peoples personal sphere, where for good reason they should stay out of. But that he…

The UK has also been willing in the past to rework their laws when the laws don't work out in practice, so its not like this is a long term threat to freedom of the masses if it doesn't work out as intended. Freedom of speech and other rights are not about the masses. They're sometimes even spoken about as "protecting the minority from the majority". What is potentially happen is exactly someone saying things people in power don't like. And of course, activism usually conveniently correlates wit…

Counter to popular belief, this aint a meritocracy. Creating a business, it is just a form of finding some power that can be used to extract payment for something…

Worst part is, that the children of the 'victim' must live in fear just because their mother got an innocent man in jail. Edit: i creeped you out :p

Well, if they can't prove the man did it, they can't sentence him. So some investigation has to be done. But if they can prove that the man did not do it, or anything like it, i expect there to be consequences for the woman because of the false accusations. Basically, it is attempted imprisonment by manipulating the law system, and defamation.
