If you’re not physically attracted to him, you can’t force yourself to be. I was seeing a guy (I thought he was okay) - but I hated his voice. His laugh sounded like nails on a chalkboard. There were other things (didn’t clean his bathroom, lots of childish things in his bedroom, didn’t put clothes away, dirty laundry on the floor, etc). I ended it because I just wasn’t into him. He’s nice enough - but I just couldn’t force it.

I’m the same way. Not super physically affectionate and don’t really respond well to it. He seems to be taking things slow and seeing what your reactions to certain things are. Just keep going at your pace, keep vetting.

He likes you. But it sounds like you don’t like him.

Leave him. He’s not exclusive. This isn’t normal behavior.

You’re gorgeous just as you are. If he can’t see that - his loss.

Yes. I was struggling with emotional unavailability, and have recently come out of it more with the help of friends and learning how to connect again after a toxic relationship. I’ve never really had commitment issues - but I did have attachment issues which I’ve been working on. But I also don’t feel emotionally connected when I don’t like someone, which can feel like emotional unavailability. I’ve learned what both feel like to me though and it’s different for everyone.

Yes! I’m always trying to evaluate myself, and elevate myself. I want to be the best version of me - and work on me for me. Especially since I’ve gotten out of my toxic relationship - I want to be better, more mindful, and know myself better. I appreciate the comment(:

I don’t know why it didn’t click that when talking about women who are “pickme” types, it is behavior based - but that makes more sense. I’ll reread through the handbook. To answer your question - I live for me. I don’t like the idea of living for another person - that’s actually why I left my ex. His last words were to me “I need to be needed” and I just noped out. I appreciate your help!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
