Understood lol. I’m kind of branching off now but in your eyes what makes a man want to settle down with a particular woman ?

Do men not see any value in women other than attractiveness ?

Yup, many are and many aren’t. I’m sure there are also men who can see value in a woman for who she is in the present and not just be hyper focused on her past.

Without even knowing what he’s done in the past i just wouldn’t be satisfied with what he had to offer in the now. If someone isn’t what you want present-day, just leave them alone bc the past is over. As far as guys being treated as lesser, I think that it just takes a mature definition on what “lesser” actually is. To some women , deciding to wait to sleep with a man is a sign of taking him seriously and respecting him as well as herself. But some men take it the wrong way and think she’s not …

I think that you’re assuming that all women wait until they’re old to have a change of heart about men and relationships. Also if you truly value and trust a woman , why does it matter what she has done in her past?

I can’t say I agree with you on that one. I think it definitely depends on the social circles and demographics that you surround yourself with. The women that I know as friends(and myself) are selective, but not shortsighted at all. I think about longevity and what’s sustainable and healthy for me. Personally I do agree that women may go through a “Chad” phase at some point in life, but after we realize that these men are all surface, no substance, we start to seek out more wholesome and fulfill…

Divorce or breakups is most likely not someone breaking up a happy home. If there’s a break up, that means someone made the choice to leave an unhappy or unhealthy situation. So that stat isn’t relevant. A woman ending a relationship is alot of times the best decision she can make for herself and her kids. Yes birth is a woman’s choice but being a good father is a mans choice. Just like being a good mother is a woman’s choice. I can agree that a lot of women make the mistake of choosing bad men,…

So are single fathers caused by male pickiness ? I am seeing what you’re saying but at some point there has to be male accountability for their role in this. A “player” is still a human being who makes the decision to be a player. They aren’t excused from their bad life choices

I understand what you’re saying in the case of sperm donation but I can guarantee you that the majority of single mothers would rather not be single mothers. They definitely want help caring for their kids if the father of their children was willing and capable. The decrease in fathers isn’t due to the women being picky it’s due to the men choosing not to be fathers.

I’m not understanding how a woman’s “pickiness” increases the number of single mothers. It seems like single motherhood is caused by a mans inability to be a father, or his inability to commit.

Joe is so interesting to watch. I’m observing so much. He is afraid of abandonment and has a HUGE fear of not being accepted once people find out what a monster he is. On the flip side, he is SO QUICK to abandon someone once they show their “true colors”. The ironic thing is even with Love, the only (alive) woman who actually knows the truth about Joes murders/craziness, he still is not loyal or devoted to her. His mommy issues run deep. It is a fictional show, but I do believe the behavior patt…

How did he react when you let him know you were not comfortable yet? Also how long until he asked you to be his girlfriend again? I’m curious to know because in my past, me setting a boundary and sticking to it like that would result in a complete dynamic shift.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
