that's a judgement that they did not make. a faceless badboy who ensures that the main event is her might have NOTHING to do with being shallow.. OR self centered..
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:19 AM

i got this.. it will just annoy you. I - on the other hand - am here all night drinking and have nothing better to do than talk to a brick wall until it resembles a being with basic communicative abilities.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:18 AM

that was pretty clear.. reading comprehension.. not a strong point. go back to the start. do not pass go. do not collect 200 dollars.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:17 AM

he is saying that OP's assessment is narrowly construed to fit a pre-existing concept. it's WAYYY to precise to be technically true
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:16 AM

HOPE TO THE ARTSY HOBOOOOOS :D
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:13 AM

I feel like we KINDA agree but it's a question of degree. and my point is.. don't LIE to your voters about what you offer them and make empty promises. but NO HOLDS BARRED against the opponent.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:12 AM

you ever tried it? alcohol will fix getting your arm sawed off by a half drunk doctor in 1856
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:11 AM

right here bud. im pregnant with a bucket o' chicken
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:10 AM

Men are already shiftless bums. hey.. don't call these losers shiftless bumbs. IM a shiftless bumb.. most people are scared to truly become a shiftless bumb and live in the shelters all over the continent
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:10 AM

None other than females reinforcing patriarchy of course.. because feminists.. despite their - almost universal stated aim of dismantling patriarchy - are inexplicably so incompetent or dishonest as to have been reinforcing it all along.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:09 AM

vodka fixes that. but sometimes the cure aint worth the disease
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:06 AM

new topic: | OnlyFans and other online pay porn sites are FAR MORE ETHICAL than all other forms of porn. reason being, in the other forms, most of the actresses got ripped off for pennies and their content is free forever. so paying for content to the actress is a good thing. yet there is some crusade against it. which - to me - feels like insidious control over the ability of women to make money doing their shit..
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:05 AM

agreed. and I find a lot of these posts have the quality of being... LOGICALLY reasonable.. but the wording betrays some weird hang-up or just.. troubling mentalities

would you talk to or relate to women voluntarily? I barely hang on to the handful of relationships i have.. the only ones im looking to add are physical sexual ones.. knowhatimean?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 10:00 AM

then just keep taking it.. it works. ur good.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:59 AM

ahh i see. thanks for the input. I was just curious if that's a thing.. like "this is my hobo, artsy husband" is that a thing for anyone? you know? I would never take or mooch.. but.. also am just curious if it's ok to bring literally NOTHING but myself
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:59 AM

hey. not every strategy works for everyone. frankly I'd criticize AOC for being TOO SAFE. and I dunno if you remember the Harris Trump campaigns. Harris' VP sorta off-the-cuff just called these Repbulicans "weird" which landed just PERFECTLY. not only was it a direct attack.. but it removed their 'seriousness' and 'gravity' simultaneously. it was working fantastically... but the machinery of the Harris (AKA biden) campaign made him put a stop to it.. thinking that getting into the weeds would ma…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:57 AM

from the drunken depths of hazy day mists. stumbled one who lives to debate and nothing else no shower necessary. presentability optional this is words on a screen. the game I've been accustomed to in my generation like no other thusly the dirty stranger extended a challenge with the call of "EN GARDE"
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:48 AM

it's been 3 months... don't worry. dutasteride will work.. unless you are also pounding back oxymetholone tablets.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:45 AM

I'm gonna die alone with no one one to love me. one day i was sitting in a library reading a book about buddhism.. and this weird thought occurred to me... 'when i love someone, and they love me.. that feeling doesn't come from them.. it comes from ME.. I AM THE SOURCE OF ALL LOVE I COULD EVER EXPERIENCE"... it brought tears to my eyes and endless reassurance btw both my mother and sister have no problem with men shorter than them. and i have YET to meet a woman who GIVES A FUCK about baldness.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:43 AM

sentiment but as a man of integrity I can't endorse bullshit. but now it's about winning. will you play by all polite rules just to lose time and again to slimey fucks?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:42 AM

min for the last 3 months to no avail dutasteride isn't going to give noticeable results in a handful of months. but what it WILL do is absolutely halt all future hair loss. been on it for like 5 years you might get SOME 'regrowth' which is actually just the revitalization of the thinning dying hairs that have now been freed from the choking effects of piles of DHT.

A real man is a slave to women no.. a real man doesn't think about the fairer sex in such ways. counting pennies and petty grievances.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:38 AM

question for the ladies: would you date a man who brings no economic benefit, yet takes none either? he just enjoys your company, and you, his?

what i am saying is... so what? if you don't like the way women play the game, let a guy like me drill you in the ass... those are the two choices, son

most important and ONLY important are two different things. ensuring children are cared for properly is.. YES.. the most important thing in society. and a close fucking second, is relieving people from the bondage of relying on arbitrary fucks.

I think that some of it is biological in a sense that they are behaviors no.. behaviours are behaviours... gender identities are 100% societally designed and assigned. biology makes tits produce milk. biology floods newborn mothers with oxytocin to encourage bonding. but NONE of that has ANYTHING to do with some idea of identity or femininity unless you DECIDE it does. It is arguable that the world is now overpopulated no.. quite the opposite. there is more than enough to go around for everyone.…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 05:23 AM

People don't upheaval or some shit. You think americans would let the government boss them around like that?! stupid fat white selfish fucks almost called for armed revolution because they didn't want to politely wear a mask to help their fellow humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 11:27 PM

If women dont want to be with a guy.. yeah.. if ANYONE is "at fault" .. he is.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 11:27 PM

Mandatory workouts? Thats not a recipe for more baby making, but rather fucking massive social upheaval against being so controlled. then the next barrier is women's nature Uhhhh... if a guy is so whiney as to even THINK that... i can see why women would be put off.

You're the one immersed in it.. i dunno. You said it all has specific themes
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 09:39 PM

You were asking why, if human mating practices are massively varied, is there a common theme on dating advice subs, etc? My answer was "because that stuff is just a specific genre of american online content"
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 09:33 PM

Fair enough. In that case. There ARE cases where it IS.. but not that

But who are you to say what "women" aught to be educated on? Maybe ur a dumbass and wrong. How do you know they aughtnt be educating you?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 09:03 PM

doesn’t want to deal with a problem which would need women’s help as a group That's not how governmental and societal change works. You dont just make a demand of a specific demographic... You petition for lawmakers/politicians and movers and shakers to institute your agenda. No?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 08:59 PM

I personally do not feel like i am in any way disadvantaged... i feel lucky. Secure. And confident. There are problems everywhere.. for everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 08:49 PM

I'd still consider joining the military an active role So, if someone transitions to being a woman... yet joins the military... you consider them more masculine than feminine?!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 08:49 PM

So its a rhetorical hack? Sounds like a small problem if one at all
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 08:48 PM

My point is that there is a huge and fundamental difference between economic/workplace discrimination... and supposed "dating inequity discrimination"
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 08:47 PM
-1

Again. Disagree. Let me ask you this. If "human mating" practices are infinitely variable, why is it the same several dozen issues coming up consistently on dating advice subs and elsewhere? Why doesn't the infinite variability appear there? Because its all one genre of american online slop content?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 08:35 PM

To the degree it affects many men, no, it’s not a matter of personal preferences anymore. Just because it affects many men doesn't mean it's not a matter of personal preferences anymore. Women expecting men to cater to their unfair preferences there is no such thing. if you don't want the deal. don't take the deal. you think society should like, somehow browbeat women into having lower standards to make men feel better about their chances?!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 06:49 PM

who payed on the first couple dates is something I would probably forget like 2 months into a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 06:38 PM
1

when the fact that women who have more than two children become reliant upon a man for her and their survival within a society that's actively hostile to motherhood is the reason why the birth rate is low... if that were the case, why now is the birthrate lower? those problems were even MORE pronounced before. when women had like... 6 kids.. and REALLY had to rely on a man.. was society any more 'accomodating' to motherhood at the time?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 06:37 PM

What smaller cultures did in America is irrelevant to AMERICA CULTURE and was was expected broadly. that's my point. there WAS NEVER ONE EXPECTED THING IN AMERICA. ITS ALWAYS BEEN DIVERSE. it's a figment of your imagination. Initiating, providing and protecting has ben the male role since the beginning, yes. you are an anthropologist? or a pulled-it-out-of-my-ass-ist? I don’t see what trans women have to do with anything. "there's basically no such institution that is ready to be empowered by men taking up a female gender role." so then i mentioned just that case. and they're not preferring trans women over cis men. they want every acceptable candidate.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:47 PM

in dating is not is not better than men expecting women to conform to outdated standards in the corporate world. yes it is.. one is a matter of personal taste and personal lives. the other is an issue of economic and political equality.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:45 PM

Wanting the privilege of modernity without the reasonability is selfish. you can want whatever you want. you just want what you want. you might not get it. i think all wants are.. by definition... selfish? id you even read OP's post? She said Gender expectations is what's causing the dating problem when in reality, it's the one sided expectation that's causing it. oh yeah.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:44 PM
1

so.. what you are saying.. is that since men have to entice women to date them.. it logically and fairly follows that women have to cow tow to mens desire in the working world? and that sounds just and fair? and not retarded?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:41 PM

And if women want to make careers, they have to conform to the expectations of men, why?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:38 PM

but the fact that not all people, even WITHIN one society, are attracted to the same features is pretty good evidence that it's not genetically determined. no?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:37 PM

but average doesn't mean anything. the mere fact that there is variance kinda already disproves your point.. let alone that those averages are different for each culture
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:32 PM

How do you propose we genetically engineer men who are naturally attracted to fat obese women? there are already cultures that find that attractive. just grow up there. dont even need genetic engineering plus a good chunk of guys ALREADY find that attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:30 PM

.... dude ... it's not ALL learned. but.. some cultures find long necks beautiful and women put those rings on to lengthen them. the mayans thought bent skulls were beautiful so they molded the skulls of children. i think it's more accurate to say that our REACTION to the more-or-less socially determined beauty standards is instinctive

Even if we just stuck with America it's trad to American Culture. also, america is diverse. what were native traditions? what about the amish? the greeks? some people have arranged marriages.. the mormons had multiple wives... there's a whole plethory of 'male female gender roles' and methods of courtship within just america

Women expecting Trad treatment while wanting to be behavior modern is selfish, correct. why? people can expect whatever they want. women can WANT men to wear pink tutu's and carry them up flights of stairs and in exchange the women want to smoke cigars and chuckle at farts. so? I don't see how that is selfish really. The problem of dating isn't Gender role expectations and Heteronormative norms. there's basically no such institution that is ready to be empowered by men taking up a female gender role. many institutions, such as the military, etc. are rapidly modernizing and making adjustments to accomodate trans women. so.. yeah institutions ARE doing that. traditional male roles are far harder to break than traditional female roles. in some ways, but it's not the ROLE that's hard to break, because a role is just an idea. it's just that ACTING a certain way in relation to that might be m…

Ahhh so you hate profit. Profit is a measure of efficiency. it's the exact opposite. profit represents the taking out of the creative process to be just placed away and wasted. That is why the modern American "poor" live better than any king or queen did 200 years ago. no we live better because of technology. people like isaac newton, gallileo, einstein, da vinci, etc. and they didn't do it for money. they just loved what they did.

As stared in the post, men are expected to be the ones to pursue women and pay for the dates and even protect them. that's not trad. that's just our culture. it's not like that in finland or germany, etc. Men are online are shamed when a video comes out of them not helping some random women on the street from an attack. I would shame anyone for that.. wouldnt you?!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:02 PM

The problem is that women expect the Trad Masculine role but reject their Trad Feminine role while simultaneously demonizing masculinity. yep the fact it's hard to date is womens' fault. selfish.. not doing things the way YOU want them done... the nerve

A single person can't swim against an entire culture, they can try tho. A man who wants to get swiped on...requires woman to swipe first, which is almost never going to happen. you can deal with reality as it is while also working to mentally deconstruct gender roles.

what is a relationship? how does it work? how is it negotiated and mediated? how can you even have a large group of people in one place at one time in an orderly manner? communication. if one fucker tries to just dominate through 'power' - whatever that means - he won't have power for long. because everyone will be like 'fuck that douche' communication is the source of even power.. no?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 04:29 PM
1

right. neither person is jealous of the other.. or feels taken advantage of.. as long as it's an equal proper relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 04:24 PM
8

yeah, why let emotions and feelings guide you to a partner as has been done for billions of years when you can pull out a checklist and perform mathematic equations!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 04:22 PM
1

so after fighting for the right to vote. and work. and own things. and divorce. and have social standing. after all that just so that they can feel self sufficient... they just wanna go be "catered" to again and infantilized? sounds legit
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 04:19 PM
1

feelings are just feelings. they are neither right nor wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 04:17 PM

feminism pretended that if women were free they'd do the right thing like not being shallow, reverse gender roles, that men had to police each others and change to enable that. So men and society have changed, waiting for women to police each others and change. :))) did it? i dunno. sounds pretty made up.. but it's a side issue anyway. You know that pointing things out doesn't mean you must have a solution for your observations to be right, right? so, ok.. maybe women are pickier now. prolly are…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 04:05 PM

:D good for a "i cant fall asleep.. and am still drunk" kinda night how many do you think are trolls? vs like disinformation actors? vs like.. even bots?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:55 PM
1

Pickier women don't have kids yeah but what's the solution? make them lower their standards? that's literally the shittiest option.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:54 PM
1

what does women growing pickier have to do with that?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:51 PM
1

oh my god. a reasonable person. and.. the discussion will end here while i endlessly goof around with trolls. bahahaha
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:50 PM
1

Almost as if I told you exactly that. fair. thats true. it hasn't trickled down to the main metropolis' yet. Do you often personally attakc people debating on a debate place? im just asking.. what's the problem with women growing pickier? my first thought is "as well they should. good for them"
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:46 PM
2

so she has to RELY on some guy? rather than be made whole by society at large?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:43 PM
1

Some people argue that it is a deviation rather than an evolution to have women acting like men. our ideas of 'masculinity' and 'femininity' are social constructs unique to our exact culture at this exact time and place. It certainly creates a lot of conflict in the dating and marriage world. how so>?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:42 PM
1

fair. upon rethinking it. :)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:41 PM
1

There are actual societal tendencies for women to not want to pair with men anymore and to grow more picky good. good on them. you threatened by that? how is their housing going? Bet it's not great. each country is different. in several of them, there are wastelands of properties that can't be GIVEN away.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:41 PM
1

nono. but the tone of your message was that of "HOW DARE YOU DEMEAN MEN AS A WHOLE?!" that's all.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:35 PM
1

Cool story bro. The relevance? my point was, ok a person said or believed something wild.. so? It's not shrinking YET. only because of immigration. it's on the horizon. and in italy, south korea, china, japan it IS shrinking RAPIDLY.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:32 PM
2

But my point is why does she need to catch up in a job market? need is irrelevant. she is fundamentally at a disadvantage for being half of the child making equation in a way that men simply are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:31 PM

Some women are. some everythings are everything. i met a guy on the bus who called jesus JEEEBUS. and explained his name is YESHUA. so? it was one random guy Since people are not making enough kids, I'm already growing in a society where food and housing is getting unaffordable by the day, and my kids are going to have it even worse. well technically a shrinking population will free up a lot of housing...

In nature without government interference, women need men because they are less capable, thats how attraction and mating is wired for them. in nature. without government interference everyone needs everyone. societies operate like a collective all relying on each other for everything. no puzzle piece is more or less crucial. believe me, a flint axe can be sunk into your head by a woman or a boy or a man all the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:06 PM
1

at what? i've wrestled with women that choked my ass out. and you'd be even easier game. you think you can shoot better? nope. are you smarter? FUCK no. more reliable? no.. more personable? no... funner to be around.. no.. why do i want you in the trench, exactly?

/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:03 PM

That means that womens desire for men is connected to how much she needs him and what he can do for her. no it starts with attraction. hormones. emotions. physical animalistic shit :D With the government we have essentially made the state a surrogate husband so women are less dependent on men. And because of that, women dont want most men you mean since women aren't forced to rely on men, now they have choice and should be forced back into - basically - servitude? nah.. im good.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 03:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 02:57 PM

This way women and men will pair up more often again and bring back the birthrates to stable numbers as well. why would this make women and men pair up more? i thought the main factors for - pair bonding - were emotional and like... driven by desires.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 02:56 PM
1

I know. and STILL they cheat at it. separating the palms to get the greasy thumb-pin-swoop. The population has expanded in insane numbers. We can stand to have some people that live their life without producing children. There are enough people who want children to keep the human race alive. actually im more concerned about depopulation in the long run but yeah i support peoples' freedom to live as they see fit
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 02:55 PM
1

i see men everywhere all the time. EVERYWHERE... ALL THE TIME. they aren't undervalued... whatever that means. no one is thinking "ahh these fucken guys. every single one of them are pointless" and if women don't wanna pair with guys.. who cares?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 02:53 PM
2

When women argue for feminism, they usually tend to blame men as a collective. made up characterization Men then also as a collective need to be appreciated for their inventions. your slack ass doesn't deserve credit for the greatness of geniuses. And no, women would not be able to do it ?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 02:46 PM

Women are not even close to men in their ability to be soldiers some of the toughest people on my platoon in training were women. we ALL had to carry the same load for the big 3 hour ruck march. from the biggest guy to the 5 foot 3 inch girl. and everyone finished it. they can shoot just as good. hide just as good. think just as quickly and decisively... bullets dont discriminate, and even a baby can pull a trigger.

well then we just fundamentally disagree on the entire philosophy of how government should be run. :/

it wasnt a straw man it was an analogy to elucidate a point. do you think a cake baker should be allowed to not serve black people if they want?

give an actual example. im saying if you restrict people from being allowed to own other human beings, yes you are infringing upon their rights. but you are freeing the rights of the enslaved.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 02:19 PM
1

i dont need fancy words to understand the arguments here. restricting people from acting in oppressive ways is - overall - being LESS restrictive in total there are plenty of restrictions against murder.. slavery. etc. etc. Eg men make the individual decision to pay women less as women are seen (regardless of whether it's warranted, or sexist bias) as less competent -> patriarchy. that's ONE aspect of it. it's an entire overarching system. economic. cultural. educational. religious. governmental…

/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 02:13 PM

okay but i dont think men are 'invisiblized' in any way that adds some kind of depth to social analysis. it's like if by invisiblised you mean they might have a tendency towards less customer facing jobs that's maybe TECHNICALLY something you could call invisiblization. but like they are the heroes in movies. and the presidents. and prime ministers.. its not like guys are off in the corner of society with no, like, recognition or anything

okay let me use a different example. should there be subsidized daycare? it would help a lot of people. so if you think its good, then we can vote for it and the government will rustle up the funds to do it. if you think paying someone a salary to stay home with toddlers is worthy to do and helps society in general, then you can vote for that and the government will rustle up the funds to do it. neither is 'right' or 'wrong' its a judgement call
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 01:26 PM

I said a financial incentive to break the marriage contract exists for non earning spouses under current law. yeah that is correct, if what you say about alimony is true. but i thought we were talking about how to.. like.. ensure healthier relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 01:21 PM
1

If you can’t afford to stay home, you don’t stay home. You don’t get to make a choice you can’t afford and expect taxpayers to subsidize it. this is a question of priorities though. i could easily say: if you want to drive on the road, that's your choice, the tax payer shouldn't pay for YOUR roads. why aren't you arguing that?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 01:20 PM

ot of women do foster a society that leads to men feeling unheard, hurt, and insecure in ways they're not emotionally equipped to understand due to how much they were stunted as kids. im not sure that's from women. that's a big wide ranging pop culture social issue. and last i checked women werent running government, economies, and the tv stations.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 01:11 PM

Schools can’t even get proper classroom supplies and basic public services are underfunded, that's not because there ain't money out there. it's just not being spent on that. You don’t get to make that choice and then insist taxpayers should replace the income you chose to give up. actually i think thats fair. because tax payers are parents too.. so they will also benefit from it..
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 01:09 PM

There are already mechanisms to help from marriage counselling to divorce. It just so happens that the way things are currently set up one party is financially incentivised to break the marriage contract. that's putting a bandaid on a broken limb. it prolly mostly stems from economics.. stresses to do with money. issues of deprivation, all the ways in which people are pushed down (like with the criminal justice system) and oppressive working conditions, complete distrust in politics and governme…

/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 01:03 PM

okay.. it was an ANALOGY meant to show a logical relationship. Ill just skip the analogy and say that: telling women to treat men better in order to stop things like sexual violence, ETC. is INSANE. it's like saying THEY are partly to blame for being victims.

as long as men are stronger and have more testosterone, the heavy physical work is mostly gonna be done by them what about the small guys tho? the biggest men only can be lumberjacks? but small guys have to be seamstresses? i guess if you think everyone is a blank slate and are all equally capable of the exact same things, inequality is baked into our species. the things that matter, yeah. do marathons matter? no. and a woman can pick up a rifle and shoot you just as easily as a guy could.

sure. but i dont care. i think, frankly it makes MORE sense.. but tbh yeah unsubstantiated claims are the same regardless. but even like the framing of reinforce my point that these women are bullshitting about matriarchy just that wording reeks of some kind of axe to grind or something.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 11:49 AM

But I know enough about Goldin's research on the pay gap to know there isn't any boys club keeping them out of any field in this day and age. just because you can't purposely not hire them doesn't mean there aren't a fuck ton of workplaces that are still, to this day, hostile to women and rife with harassment issues, etc. Oh Sean Connery said something once. That's excellent evidence lol. it's evidence of how recent such things were completely normal and ok

There is no reason to believe that humans are predisposed to that system of that if would be any better if we were. we aren't predisposed to ANY type of system. there are myriad systems all over the earth that are constantly changing and evolving.

imagine piloting a massive ship. yeah, we turned the rudder. but the ship is slow to actually move in the desired direction. They still don't want to enter those fields. is it because of the previous legacy of what happened? is it because women wouldn't want to anyway? is it just a cultural preference? if its a cultural preference, where did it come from? Okay, but none of that means the homemaker should be paid the salary they could’ve earned. fair.. but i don't see that as a problem. seems alright. yeah id vote for that. If your household can’t afford a stay at home parent, then both parents work. Wanting that lifestyle doesn’t mean someone else owes it to you. there is more than enough wealth and economic productivity in society to allow people to stay at home and raise their kids. rather than consigning them to struggles, both working and the…

i am 100% arguing that being a stay at home parent means 2 things 1) all the money is jointly owned completely. 2) in addition, the government should be supportive of that and yeah if they stay at home they are losing out on a career, etc. so they can be a good parent. they arent doing it selfishly

i dont mean in personal lives. just.. oppression still exists for women in a lot of ways. i mean.. im not a woman so i cant say i have personal experience, but... there's still a lot of issues all over the place. toxic work environments, harassment, etc. double standards with regards to sexual propriety... a whole bunch of things and actually money is a huge part of oppression of all kinds
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 10:28 AM

I've personally known hundreds. you know personally HUNDREDS of people who have sworn off marriage because of the way alimony works? ... believable Disincentivising divorce is not remotely the same thing as outlawing divorce. disincentivising, outlawing it's all coming from the wrong angle. that approach is akin to just forcing people to stay married instead of tackling the actual issues that put stress on families and drive them apart. If we want fewer divorces, a fairer divorce system, more stable marriages, etc. yes, it is currently very bad indeed. why do i want fewer divorces? frankly id be ok if marriage didnt exist anymore. its a made up thing. so alimony is bad? or? i kinda see the logic. especially if kids are involved. when you get married you become one economic entity. and make all sorts of societal and legal comitments. so alimony just ensures that the life that both partners became accustomed to in their marriage continues to be enjoyed by both partners.

They are making a willing choice to do it, they know the risks. If they do not want to take this risk, then just don’t be a stay home mother. but isn't it - always - preferable to have either a stay at home mother or father for at least the first.. 5 or so years?! it shouldn't be penalized.

yeah. reasonable.. and thoughtful. im not even sure we disagree :) oh wait, ok. one thing: Families have to be smaller if kids are not dying off because if they were not, we would indeed overpopulate. families are just shrinking anyways for unrelated reasons. we couldn't raise the birthrate if we tried.

Having someone else provide for you so you don't have to work is a massive privilege that costs a lot of money. no, it's best for the kids. would you rather both parents work and send them to strangers? IIRC it was something like <20% of divorces are instigated by working partners when the other party doesn't work. but that's just another way of saying less than 20% of divorces are instigated by the guys.. which could mean anything. it could mean, women are the ones that get fed up and leave.. i…

no. the point is there is a cost to being pregnant, giving birth, and raising children. and you can never catch up afterwards in the job market.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 06:08 AM
1

isn’t this idea an internally contradictory one since the nominally income-freed SAHP would now be relying upon the generosity of their husband to stay at home it's not generosity. the children get raised. the family functions. every dollar that comes in is equally his and hers
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 06:06 AM

There’s clearly an exchange of value. but the question is, who's time is valued more? I would argue in a real relationship it's all 50/50. regardless of what 'society' arbitrarily awards paid work

Women had to enter the workplace because with smaller families due to lower infant mortality rates I thought it was because A) the second world war shunted MILLIONS of women into manufacturing jobs. see: Rosie the Riveter. and they prolly liked having money and independence. so they kept working? if everyone had 5 kids we'd overpopulate fast--as well as better appliances, there is not nearly enough productive work for a woman to do at home full-time from age 25 to retirement. The other perspective is whether the spouse who was out working 70 hours a week gets to force the children to love them and imprint his ideas upon divorce? you make it seem like they are working like that just for the family.. yet, if you were a genie and said to them "i'll wave this wand, you stay home with the kids, and she is a professional working 70 hours a week" how many would do it?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:57 AM
1

it’s because they want to stay home, so they haven’t given up anything. this doesn't follow. every decision involves giving up AT THE VERY LEAST the alternative that you decided to go against. like the economic idea of opportunity cost. every course of action has an opportunity cost. that is, if you invest 5 bucks in the hotdog stand, you can't spend it on the hockey game. if you invest 5 minutes helping someone with their homework you can't spend it doing laundry. etc. etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:55 AM

actually there is a good case for the government to pay them for "social reproduction"... in other words creating a healthy, emotionally balanced, educated public that goes on to work and create economic benefit to the society. companies and governments kinda piggyback on all the free childrearing and education, but then reap the benefits of an educated society. if you asked them for the same freebie they would say... "5 BUCKS"

hmmm. on second thought, it's all evolutionary. the entire mindset of a single human is at least - on some level - meant to appear attractive to the opposite sex. so both sexes engage in kind of a dance of trying to hit the evolutionary hot buttons. be it in this way or that. looking this way, moving that way, pushing your hair to one side, etc. etc. in a lot of ways we kind of try to hack the rational part of the brain of the opposite sex as an effort to appear and be more desirable regardless …

Men also think you're shitty partners for thinking you are entitled to their paychecks. if you are in a long term relationship and live together going towards marriage.. i feel like all money is equal. of course... why wouldn't it be? the guy might say "well i earn 50 dollars an hour but she earns 15 dollars an hour.. so society values my time more" but the question she should ask him is: "do YOU value your time more than mine?! or are we equal?"

This has never happened before in millions of years of human history, but women are making it happen now. That's damning. is this.. like.. a problem? you cant tell other people what to do.. so if that is how things are, and men are reacting in that way... so.. uhh.. what? whats the alternative? telling women how to date and how to feel and what to do? or is it better to just let some guys be like "AHH FUCK IT" ? this is one of those classic: "that's a YOU problems"

Women know further down the line when both parties are working and they're doing the bulk of the child care and taking care of the house that a man who didn't invest early certainly won't be investing then even a total douche bucket can manage to pull off the 'gentleman' routine for a few dates. does it really show anything?!

nobody said anything about "no responsibility whatsoever" all she said was MEN ARE NOT ENTITLED TO FREE RELATIONSHIP ADVICE FROM RANDOM WOMEN ONLINE. and from that you drew the conclusion that A) she feels NO such thing as social responsibilities whatsoever? and then B) you further went on a butt-hurt tangent about not feeling any social responsibilities yourself?! can you not see the irrationality of this line of reasoning? it makes no sense man unless you are OWED free dating advice from rando…

your argument is like a straw man.. or red herring.. or some other such fallacious thing where you are arguing against something that wasn't even part of the initial issue. for example: when you argue that 'social responsibility is mutual' do you mean to say that OP DOES in fact OWE you her time if you want advice? because that is THE ONLY POINT SHE MADE. all she technically argued was that she doesn't OWE anyone her time. she didn't say she has no social responsibilities. she didn't say that sh…

people like OP want other people to be responsible towards them op never said any such thing. Because social responsibility is mutual. OP never intimated that he/she doesn't feel social responsibilities. all she said was she doesn't OWE anyone her time for advice on the internet with regards to dating. for all we know she volunteers at soup kitchens, helps kids cross the street and feels a deep sense of civic duty. but her argument rubbed you the wrong way, so you had a little tantrum without ac…

Yep. this isn't dealing with the main argument. So? a point is a point. i am basically contesting your - what seems to be - cheap shot at someone for their expenditure of time and value of it... because it doesn't meet your 'standards' and hence you just scoff at it. which is judgy and bullshit. no? they said "my time has value" which meant - in the context of OP's original argument - you aren't entitled to ANY of it. that's it.. no more.. no less.

I am absolutely engaging in good faithed debate. WHAT ABOUT ALL THE OTHER POINTS?! anyways, helping a stranger doesn't have THAT much to do with gender. moreso with power.. so a small person, or an infirm or elderly person... or a child.. basically anyone who I can see is clearly outmatched, I feel an obligation to help. yeah there is no 'entitlement' to help. we aren't entitled to not be eaten by grizzly bears.. but I'd still try and do something if at all possible. does anyone feel entitled to…

"I am one gender, and I'm into this other gender, which I'm not." Do you think this is an apt definition? yes And if yes, would you say this suggests an attachment to some sort of duality/separation/dichotomized experience of the genders? also, unfortunately, yes. hopefully in the future, this won't be the case as people feel free to totally expand as individuals. limitlessly unattached to such concepts of identity.

hmmm. i'd agree that in the 50's men would be tripping over themselves to give you their seat. but was the reason no one gave you their seat 'progress' in the feminist sense? or is it just that people are kinda rude and oblivious to such things nowadays? like someone getting on the bus carrying a bunch of groceries or something, and some 15 year old is sitting in the front listening to music not budging an inch.

The question you keep stepping around is whether that cost would ever be allowed to land on women the way it lands on men sure.. it depends on the society. that's a good point. bluntness actually inhibits nuanced emotional discussions.

All I know is... They are right if they are talking about me.. I don't like talking about my feelings.. I don't like to 'unload' on people.. I deal with it by sitting in a corner and rocking back and forth by myself until the funk is gone. So I am at least ONE data point in this experiment.

and given that 40% of mens' words are either "fuck" "shit" "piss" or "Dick" they speak more like, 60 percent more.

hey hey hey.. everyone.. I was never explicitly told that men don't cry. Yet i still feel its the same thing as tapping out to a choke hold.. "Fuck it... just.... choke me out.."

I simply think the men who don’t want to talk to their partner or bond with them just don’t like women at all. I dunno I can understand a certain degree of aloofness. some people are just profoundly uncomfortable with sharing their feelings, etc.

They want more bonding time, more high effort dates, things of that sort. Men, not so much this depends on the man. some really want to delve into their partner and understand them and do all these things.. others are just kinda more distant. He's fine with a more relaxed, laid-back approach which she doesn't like this totally depends on the couple. I've gotten critiques that I seem clingy (AKA like to cuddle and shit. it's nice to hold someone.. whatever. dont judge me :) but I think it's just …

Except that women don’t generally do shit like this, they look at body language and situational information, take things slow, look for mutual interest, consent, don’t box people in, etc. and guys stomp all over that shit.. totally random strangers be touching me when they talk to me. "WHY YOU TOUCHING ME" getting up in my space... asking me question after question with one answer replies... jesus christ.. these guys are a nightmare. And IM A GUY.

It's knowing when and how to express romantic interest without coming across as unwanted, awkward, or intrusive. 100% The issue is that creating romantic opportunities usually requires men to take risks that they don't have to take in ordinary social conversations. also 100% damn, this dude thinks 'bout shit :D

Tell me, how do you talk to men who you don’t already know? Because talking to women you don’t know isn’t really any different. It’s not impossible. yeah it is.. i don't know why.. it just is.. im more afraid of talking to a beautiful woman than getting punched in the dick by a drunk. :D

Im in a weird spot with this topic. I have enough tact to know that I can’t cold approach a girl at a cafe and even though she’s wearing a Star Wars shirt or has a Pokémon keychain I know I can’t just walk up and expect a full conversation with her just because of implied similar interests. What?! That's the best way to go. I've never been like, shunned or whatever for saying like "Hey, nice shirt!" or what have you. people appreciate that. just don't push a conversation after. you will know pre…

1) that doesn't change the fact that mass messaging is about getting money to achieve success/attractiveness. 2) Elon actually HAS been getting with INEXPLICABLY attractive women despite his a) lack of charisma b) lack of attractiveness and c) lack of any ability to otherwise attract mates whatsoever.

How long have you been single? I've been single for about 15 years now. I like it. I am used to it. I don't NEED anything else, here I am. "I'm a mog... I'm my own best friend" so it IS possible to be .. complete.. on your own. and then a partner would be a wonderful accoutrement rather than a miserable necessity.

Tears came to my eyes one day when I had the following thought. I was sitting in the library reading some book on Buddhism.. and suddenly I thought.. wait, any feeling I have had for someone else... has technically been from me.. I only experience other people through my own senses... so any love or compassion or desire I feel comes from ME. So we have a boundless source of love WITHIN us.. it cant be anywhere else! The source of any love we could ever experience is our own brain.

that's not her point. what she was saying was, you don't want to go back to the past.. it sucked for EVERYONE. a MAN in 19th century england worked 14 hour days 6 or 7 days a week in a smoke filled shit factory just to die at 45. if he tried to unionize or fight against it, the army would shoot him down.

Men are constantly told their value as human beings is intrinsically linked to their ability to get access to a woman's body I thought they were told that their value as a human being is how much money they can make.. furthermore I thought they were taught that if you make that much money, you won't have to worry about finding a woman.. they will flock to you. Which capitalism channel have you been watching?! Are our TV sets even tuned to the same frequencies?!

if you fail you will be destroyed. nah. incels are generally disregarded by every rung of society. single women, married women, single men, married men.. everyone sees them as whiny, butthurt, misogynistic, prone-to-violence lunatics. So no... there would never be an "incel uprising" like that goofball said.. (side note, he was actually attractive and coulda gotten a girlfriend if he had spent half his energy on that rather than endlessly digging up incel nonsense on the internet)

men have to settle more often this depends on so many emotional dynamics. I'm not sure about that. everyone is a ball of emotional turmoil and they choose their partners - sometimes - based on the least healthy parts of that turmoil. so who knows...

But we're talking about the privilege that women have in dating. Unless I'm missing the point? I still don't fully understand what the privilege that women have is. were I to hazard a guess, they are just swatting away dicks until they pick one NOT to swat away. That is - probably - easier than being a flying dick out there, getting endlessly swatted away :)

you can stop ignoring men, engage with them, ask them to date, have sex with them what makes you think they don't do this whenever they want?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 06:18 AM

well, tbh this is societally mediated. In Germany/Finland/Iceland (I've heard) women will walk up and ask a man out just as much so as the other way around. And in Iceland specifically it's more common to just have casual sex than go for some boring date just to wind up at the same conclusion.

No. I think REAL help involves teaching them all this shit is meaningless nothing. 1) don't be obsessed with sex. it lasts all of a couple minutes. it ain't that big a deal. 2) don't wallow in yearning. find something to focus on and get good at it. or drive towards it. 3) have ACTUAL confidence. so that if you ask a woman out and she laughs and makes fun of your hair, YOU ALSO LAUGH because you think it was a hilarious situation. and everything will be fine.

The more you get rejected the less likely your long term chances that's to people who don't 'play the game' it's a numbers game. if you ask 10 and all say no, ask 100. 2 say yes.. Excellent. ask 1000 and 20 will say yes.

Societies are more productive when men have a reason to work and/or fight. is 'more productive' better? Men have a helluva good reason to work when in goulag getting shot arbitrarily and whipped daily. Very good worker. Praductive, Da. but really, When everyone feels heard, and respected, and their needs are looked after, we get more accomplished. no?

This was the glue that held civilization together. this is just an assertion. no evidence provided. due to the forces unleashed by the sexual revolution and dating apps. also just an assertion with no evidence given.
