No, I gave an example of the result of the objectification. If drooling over someone in an unhealthy way becomes normalized, this would happen. Also, in terms of objectification I am sure you have come across the phrases " my 6 foot 3 boyfriend" or "my surgeon bf worshipping me" it is portraying people, partners in a way that only caters your needs and reducing them to the physicality or jobs

does she know intimate androcide exists? Or she doesnt need to?

So, women decided to sexually harassing men , because "patriarchy"? Not matriarchy ruling the NGOs only describing women as victims, men as scapegoats and all the funding going into women's needs?

Men doing anything from clothes to working, crying is sexualised if you care to look a bit

Same thing can be said about misogyny but when women get sexually harassed people talk about it, even generalising all men. I speak behalf of my experience and other experiences that I saw sexual assault, harassment and rape of boys and men by women and girls. Can you prove that historically men did not get sexualised and did not get objctified in the eyes of women who need them to cater their needs. Yes in this case, sexualisation is misandry, as usual in the big media , nobody talks about it a…

Firstly, I did not talk about women's sexualisation due to two reasons first sub's name and second one being that` you do not get confronted for sexualising boys, and no big media accounts or organizations ever sheds lights to this problems. Secondly, If you watch any series, sports and other big spheres , men are getting massively sexualised and objectified. Recently, 17 year old actor got kissed by middle-aged woman(on the cheeks) saying that " I kiss him behalf of all the girls". However, I d…

There are cases where people disrespect male bodies and there are cases where men are getting sexualised just by doing their jobs
/r/EverydayMisandry19/08/26 09:59 AM

I didnt get what misogyny. Like you cannot have male-only gyms and who decides to bring legal action to that? Did that ever happen(genuine informative question), provide details please?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates19/08/26 09:57 AM
3

Mate, you can want whatever you want and you have a right to ask for it. Reasons might differ some people might not be comfortable to work with women in the same gym due to past experiences or etc
/r/MensRights19/08/26 09:54 AM

To be desired is not equal to be sexualised in your every act, and your everyday actions should be regarded with empathy rather than just seeing you catering smb's needs
/r/MensRights19/08/26 09:50 AM

No not because of attraction. I would do this/that is sexualisation. And when people comments things like this inappropriately under the post that shows non-sexual content of that celebrity, it is inappropriate. Just few days ago middle-aged women kissed cheeks of 17 year old actor who had fanbase in Turkey and said " I do this behalf of all the girls" which is not normal

No, I didnt objectification of men are treating them only for your needs, how you cater the, classify them physically. Sexualisation is acceptible in your relationship, but not when somebody is crying or in pain. Also same people that say no sexulisation of women but support and encourage that of men
/r/MensRights18/08/26 06:46 PM

I get male-only gym part(but if most of the users are male , they can do that, although for many men no difference) In terms of janitors I dont agree, nobody should allow female janitor in changing rooms that need to be cleaned few times a day. Reason behind this is unpopularity of mens rights violation. Also, why strange man but not strange woman this women cleaned between my legs why I was washing my face
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates18/08/26 02:49 PM
12

Yes, and especially when you point out women's sexualisation of men, like it does not contribute to male victims of rape, but objectification of women does contribute, right? Suddenly they bring up all the bad things some men have done, but no women ever do right?
/r/MensRights18/08/26 02:06 PM

if you are a man, i dont think many women are getting confronted from it

/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates16/08/26 04:52 PM

isnt it sexual assault? When I was little I was physically abused by girls and women, sexual assault came later on. But I am sorry for your experience, Nobody can mock you and ask you about these questions

Yes I was hit, maybe I would make a post about this. However, it saddens me that how much propaganda we are consuming, and how many lies are told
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates16/08/26 04:50 PM

Yeah because most of the people who mock male victims are "men" and Uk is "patriarchy" right?

I am tired of it, every sphere of life I see men and boys are at disadvantage, it makes me sad, and abuse not only is taken loosely and mocked, but sometimes you are called an abuser wrongly

I was hit by my mother that would be categorized as abuse. Sadly same people that said be cautious , when your father gets angry he can hit u, did nothing when my mom did that instead of finding excuses, and saying that they criticising her in private(they say that dont get angry it is burden on yourself). By the way did you continue this relationship?

Listen, you are close to my age, and for grades, and religious beliefs part we are similar. However, I think you should focus on yourself not to change so you would acquire friendship, but even though it is hard to stay strong against the flow. I have been abused in my childhood and teenage years . Although, I dont care about looks and approaching women much, I understand you. But all we can do is 1) change yourself and wear "mask" that you are not 2) get stronger mentally and stand up for those…

who the **** thinks like this? Where do they get these opinions?
/r/MensRights14/08/26 05:40 AM

Sadly, in a more "equal" world , that cares about male victims opening up, they increased rape scenes and putting scenes when older women hit on teenage boy(not this movie) as a good thing. Great, in a "matriarchy" we are moving to the new level, even worse than it was 60 years ago

Roman, my brother, I am not ukrainian ,but I have relatives there, I know how you feel, and when you talk about these they frame you as a traitor who does not want men fighting for Ukraine. They ignore struggle of men and boys also they dont care about the victims, many leftings in EU or UN naturally talk about women's struggles only, in the right they are more concerned with either fighting unified "enemy" or cutting off Ukrainian refugees' weight. Therefore, these people's struggle and hardshi…

Sadly, for some it is too much to ask for. From dating to work, from education to support services, it is biased. You are expected to take some form that this "progressive" people decide for you. If you deviate from the line , you are called these adjectives that those very people criticize others for using . I like your thoughts very much and you are very correct in this matter, in this sphere sometimes ranting is only option to stay alive, if you would want to talk, dm me

The problem is that why do they only talk about porn as in video, not as a book or stories, if you look at them you would see murder, rape, abuse and so much more. However, due to being popular with some demographics it is not talked about

Sadly, not just this. I thought it was individual unique details but no. Sadly, not only crimes when women are perpetrators get much less hate and attention, but also the crimes that are women-dominated get little recognition as a whole

If they think like this they should review that how violence against women vs violence against men on public gets treated and see who are conditioned in what way

which idiot says that men are like i dont know hot to do laundry, cook and clean. Most of my friends know this as you should after certain age regardless of their sex

As somebody who is sexually assaulted , I dare her to say that to my face

this mindset is the same with neglecting women abusing men is misogyny and if apple falling to somebody's head from tree is a result of patriarchy because men ruled for eternity , they could have power to stop it

Are they mentally unwell, they are just ragebaiting at this point, what does that mean , it is clearly an insult to all men who experience "fruits" of mandatory military service
/r/EverydayMisandry02/08/26 09:21 PM

Nobody can tell me this is not happening because of taught skills. From young age, many girls are conditioned to talk trash like this. In my street, half of men have childhood traumas regarding women, but dont talk like this because it is not accepted. If misandrists think it is accepted, then bring men into these circles and make them say " I hate women " or " kill all women" and praise them

People that say misogyny kills and misandry dont are idiots that are able to show human prowess but only repeat things that they hear like parrots, the most that they are capable of is to define what they wanna say by using definition of words in the sentence

To be honest, it is a bit mild, you can see that behaviour in many offices, friend zones, and social media. And sadly, many "people" approve and encourage this

Brother, I am also in same situation regarding the mandatory military services, how people are cruel to each-other and how people justify violence as a tool for justice. I understand you regarding the job too, many people are sadly sh*t, and on top of that my supposed first job in my country was taken from me and given to girl just because she is a girl. Communicating with people are exhausting and a bit stressing. When I was a bit younger, was a bit more scared, now it is somewhat better. Which …

They say only males, not woman or child. Ironically, it is the same people that say dont call women females. Also, there is logical incorrectness, child can be male or female, they use male as people gain sex after 18

Also, I think if you talk about left-winged support, I am actually very satisfied to get all support from many different people here that somewhat made me feel that I am not alone on this matter. From people of various genders, orientation to different ethnicities. I am somewhat blessful.

To be honest, which ideology or set of thoughts are left or right actually depends more on the region and topic than you think. Specifically here I think sub is left-wing/progressive. In my opinion, being progressive is not what popular people or loud masses allow you to be; but it is how you question everything and respond to change. In this context, I always considered myself to be leftist, and I dont think being left or right should be decided just by your votes or your social circle, but rat…

The government sanctioned this Friday (24) a law that allows the sale and possession of plant extract aerosols, such as pepper spray, for women over 18 years of age as a personal defense measure. The proposal had been approved by the Senate at the end of last month. And this morning, it was published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU). The text stipulated that the spray could be used by women over 16 years of age with parental authorization, but this section was ultimately vetoed by Pres…

Of course, as someone who was physically, sexually, emotiinally abused, mostly from women at a young age, I see many things especially how kids are raised that contribute to this.I made posts in similar communities maybe will post here too. Yes my friend, in my country this is even worse, official hotline for abuse(supposedly genderless) said that this number of men,and this number of women contacted us this year, many women in the comments were mocking men not even defending women victims. Then this month, it was even worse this hotline posted about increase in calls from women completely neglecting statistics about male victims or giving any info about them
/r/EverydayMisandry17/07/26 12:37 PM

No I mostly agree ;however, I must point out that many of them are not advertised , some of them are considered homeless shelters; However, this is not the case, as you mentioned, the overall description of men are rather victims of "patriarchy" rather than victims of real abuse. And posts that show or refer to male victims are mocked or asked counterquestions instead of helping. Also, almost nobody tries to teach bodily autonomy and defense from domestic abuse when the victims are male

Are they mentally unwell? No male shelters are advertised: boys beaten by their mothers, relatives or men beaten by their partners or assaulted dont even understand that they have option to file for assault or stay in shelter(to be honest with current enviroment they really dont have that option but to understand that it is abuse they can have progress or protests), and they still have nerve to laugh or mock male victims
