Women are attracted to men that can take care of themselves and be independent. Depending on where you live, you don't necessarily need a care to be independent. Having a job or being on school is far more important.

I'm in Oregon, and my employer gives the same rights for maternity and paternity leave. That is likely a rarity though.

I mean, if the person Is still really emotional about the accusation or the accused rape, stay away. They need to deal with it themselves first. Beware of being a savior for a broken person, man or woman.

Or maybe just teach kids how to read people and stick to their boundaries in addition to the self-defense. And that it has nothing to do with gender! If we were to make it about gender, women actually tend to be huge manipulators and emotional abusers. We need to teach people how to avoid that toxic stuff too.
