The 14% fathering 51% of the children is a bit misleading though isn’t it? 51% of men 15-44 have a child, and that 14% are the ones who have 3 or more children themselves. Half of men in that age range have a child of their own, I wonder what it would look like if you got rid of the 15-25 year olds.

I don’t think it’s as a joke, it’s a self esteem thing. I think you’re probably right that a lot of girls never intend to meet guys from these apps. I think women in general are still ambivalent about meeting up with total strangers, and some probably suspect the account is fake if the guy is too good looking.

I don't know what normal, well socialized men's response is like, but I can with 100% certainty say that when a girl flirts with me or laughs at something I say or validates me in some way I have way more energy the rest of the day. Obviously I'm still an incel loser, and these things are rare for me so that could be why they have such an impact. I can only imagine how long I'd be on cloud 9 for if a girl willingly had sex with me. Lol that is so sad to type out but it's the honest to God truth.
