Well if they enjoy sex then Im sorry but they arent asexual.

That's not true, many gay men have sex and have dated women. Before they come out sure, but thats no different than a bi man lying about his sexual orientation. That is also incredibly untrue, since many asexuals date allosexuals (non-asexuals). Not saying it doesnt happen, but if someone wants a sexual relstionship its not discrimination for them to not date asexual people. It is simply not the same as women not wanting to date bi men, as Ive already said it means they have hang ups about his s…

Its not discrimination for a non-ace person to not date ace people, and vice versa, because there is a sexual incompatability at play.

Well I pretty sure gay men arent trying to date women, unless he needs a beard. But yes, asexual men definitely date, theyre asexual, not aromantic, they still enjoy the company of a long term partner. They often seek out other asexual people for obvious reasons.

Nope, no shame, I just dont expose info about myself that doesnt serve a purpose. Im at a stage in my life where I can afford to have casual flings, and if she cant accept me as I am after the casual phase then so be it. I dont really care to break the heart of someone who cant accept me as I am for such a petty reason as the fact I have slept with men, I dont respect that. And Im not even actively lying, Ive never had a date ask me about my sexual orientation, they just assume Im straight and I…

There is a sexual and romantic incompatibility between gay men and straight women and there is a sexual incompatibility between ace people and non-ace people. There is no sexual or romantic incompatibility between bi men and straight women, if the bi man simply lied about being bi a straight woman would be none the wiser, whereas if an asexual man or a gay man were to do the same it would become quite obvious that they dont enjoy having sex with her.

Yeah probably, but I can come out after I know I want to go further with her. And if she has a problem eith that then yeah, we're not compatible. But Im not going to declare my biness loud and proud on the first date nor am I going to include it in my dating profiles. I dont see the benefit in that, Im not trying to start a polycule, Im strictly monogamous. Anyway, women consistently lie about thier sexual history, and the men they date are none the wiser. Thats fine, do what you need to do for …

Ok fine, us bi dudes will just continue to lie about our sexuality. Its a dumb prefrence if a simple lie is the difference between attraction and no attraction.

Also, reported rates of infidelity in this study among heterosexuals are quite a bit lower than I’ve seen in other research In the study itself it states this so its clearly not as cut and dry as you make it out to be.

Because hes gay, he is not attracted to women, why would she date someone who is incapable of being sexually and romantically attracted to her? Why would he even ask her out in the first place hes fucking gaaayyyy. You know what that means right? This hypothetical is stupid on so many levels.

Ok then I guess almost everyone is dependent on their partner because thats the kind of arangement most couples live in nowadays. Hell, its also the arangement most couples throughout history have lived in. Any relationship where both spouses have to work to financially support the family are dependent ones by your definition. Thats not dependence, I was easily able to replace the financial contributions my ex made by simply finding a roommate. She stayed for so long because we werent on bad ter…

The only situation where a gay man asks a woman to date him, and she knows hes gay, is if he needs a beard. Ofttimes gay men and lesbian women seek eachother out to be one anothers beard so they can freely enjoy their sexuality while still enjoying the benefits of heteronormativity. Otherwise the woman in this arrangement is getting some material benefit from her role as a beard. Thats not a romantic relationship its a practical one. And as for asexuality, sexual and asexual people are often not…

Nope. Blue pillers often say high value men shouldnt let a womans sexual history affect his decision to get serious with her, and I agree with that sentiment, but it should be a two way street.

Would you say a group of housemates renting together are dependent on one another? Because thats not what dependence is at all, thats merely a practical arangement. If my roomate left I could re sublet the living room in a week because Im offering it for a very reasonable rate and as I said, thats rare in this economy. And if me and my girlfriend want to start living together I can tell my roommate he has to leave at any time. That is decidedly not being dependent on a person, but having a pract…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 02:53 PM

Hey in this economy its not at all unusual to need two people to an apartment to pay for it, thats not dependance, thats mutual support. Me and my ex lived together for like 6 months after our breakup because it was impossible for either of us to find anywhere else to stay for a reasonable price. Its only after she got a new boyfriend that she was able to move and I had to sublet the living room of the apartment to make rent without going into the red.

I agree you dont need to give a reason for why you no longer want to continue the relationship, but I still believe the right thing to do is tell them you dont want to continue the relationship, even if it was casual. Ive never ghosted a match, I dont want to leave them in a state of limbo in which they arent sure where we stand, I feel thats a shitty thing to do. And sometimes they have gotten aggresive, at that point I feel justified in blocking them.

Most of women are less emotionally resilient than men, men are consistently expected to put up with situations that would make most women break down. Men are expected to regulate our emotions to a far greater degree than women, its just more socially acceptable for women to open up that emotional valve and release the pressure, whereas men are expected to stuff it down and carry on like nothings wrong.

Male mental health and suicide is not part of the manosphere. And are men not allowed to dislike or voice our anger at the gender role thats been foisted upon us? Or is that something only women are allowed to do?

What do you mean when you say whining? A vulnerable example is my fiancé sharing how he felt like an idiot saying goodbye to a teammate because the teammate held out a fist, and he held out a hand. such is life Wow, what a calous take. Should I respond the same way to women when y'all voice your frustrations with gender dynamics? And no, women are no more vulnerable to sexual assault than men. But thats far too simplistic, ability to retaliate does not equal a lesser vulnerability. In reality a mans options when sexually victimized are heavi…

I'm in my 30s, still live with my parents, and I STILL can enter relationships with men I'm attracted to at any time I see fit. See how the standards are a little different for men though? I highly doubt a man in his 30's whos living with his parents would get much of any success with women, regardless of his looks. Men have to hit certain milestones at very specific points in our life to be considered attractive. Thats part of the reason why men still out earn women and tend to occupy higher po…

But why? If a woman wants to give her child up for adoption that child is now the responsibility of the state until they can find new parents for them. Why is it ok for women to leave a child to the state but its not ok for a man to do the same?

A guy who beats his wife is worse than a woman who verbally abuses her husband As someone who has been a victim of both, the physical abuse is scarier in the moment, but its some of the things my ex said to me that have really stuck with me and caused lasting pain. Physical wounds can heal over time, mental wounds are more elusive, you can think youre over them, but then they come roaring back when youre in a dark place.

I have, my city has a massive Korean expat population and the Koreans Ive talked with would slap the shit out of you if you tried to tell them women are second class citizens in SK. Doesnt mean women dont face specific problems in SK, but those problems fundimentally stem from class. What you're really saying is "Ask a 4B member" but why tf should I? /r/PurplePillDebate10/03/25 09:45 PM

Culture does not give a person the right to dictate others sexuality of gender expression. If a person identifies as gay or trans thats their prerogative, others who share their culture have no right to tell them how to live their life just because such life choices arent a part of their culture.

All high quality studies, large representative sample size, with consistent definitions and review from researchers trained in rape myths and bias determine that the rate of false accusations to police is between 2-10 %. Blue pillers cite this number as if it strengthens your argument, when it really doesnt. Thats still a 1/50 to 1/10 chance that a sexual assault allegation is false, thats huge. Yep, this is caused by the nuclear family concept that refuses to die. Post WW2 the nuclear family in a suburban castle, disconnected from one another beyond the occasional garden party, was marketed as the "traditional and healthy" family. They hide their true selves by acting like a good person until they have their claws in you. Narcissists and those with BPD lack a stable sense of identity or self worth, they measure both by external factors such as popularity, recignition and wealth. Without an identity or self worth words and actions are just a means to an end, a way to satisfy the ego. Because narcissists and those with BPD lack self worth they dont intrinsically value other people either. Other human beings are only valuabl…

Otherwise, yes, its bad advice. Some shity people are really good at hiding how shit they are until youre invested.

The CEO absoluetly does not get to decide those things, they would be fired by the board of directors if they even tried to. No, the board of directors chooses a ceo based on his ability to find and manage talent, not to be the talent. A lot of focus testing and market research is involved as well.

After Vietnam, the draft is so politically toxic that neither party can trigger it, at least for another half century if not more. The draft has been politically toxic every time its been used, even in WW2 and the Civil War, two wars where the best case could be made for its necessity. It being a radioactive political issue has never stopped a draft from getting bipartisan support because the wants and needs of the DoD will always supercede the will of the people.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/25 07:29 PM

Likewise, the current president bragged about not starting new wars and keeping America out of foreign conflicts, only to immediately start threatening Denmark, Panama, and Canada. So then why do you believe mens concerns of a draft are unfounded? And saying that the last draft ended over 50 years ago is not a compelling argument. Before WW1 there hadnt been a draft in the USA in over 50 years, that didnt stop the US government from bringing it back.

But accusations of sex crimes carry a lot more weight than anything else you mentioned, some see them as equivalent or worse than murder. Like even among convicts sex criminals are treated as pariahs worthy of violence. Because they are so serious we have to scrutinize sexual assault alegations more than most other crimes.

So when feminists are anti-mens rights activism are men justified in going into their meetings to sabotage them and vandalize them? Women dont care about womens issues. Example: plenty of women voted for Trump. This idea that some men dont care about mens issues, and thats why no woman should ever care about mens issues, is really flawed. Just because some women dont care about womens issues and actively vote against their own best imterests doesnt mean both men and women on the left should stop fighting for womens rights.

How is forcing specifically men to remain in an active war zone not both gendered discrimination and a violation of human rights?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 02:30 AM

Because implying sexual violonce is a concern primarily for female civilians erases the fact that rape is commomly committed against male civilians and prisoners of war. I really dont understand what is so hard about recognizing rape is something that civilians of both genders suffer from during war.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 01:52 AM

Sexual violence is commonly commited against men during war. Just look at Abu Ghraib or Guantanamo, and many Americans cheered for that during the war on terror. I made a quick guess of 1300 and 1000 based on the graph, my bad. 1078 is only 36% less than 1689. So again, the difference is not as significant as feminists make it out to be. The point is going way over your head. The fact that so many more women are medicated for mental health issues shows that more women sre getting the professional help they need.

How is it imaginary? Do you think the USA will never go to war again?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/25 06:17 AM

Its not an imaginary draft, the draft has been used mutiple times throughout US history. And refusing to sign up for selectice service is a removal of rights. A man cant vote unless he enrolls in selective service.

Nice whataboutism. Abortion rights or lackthereof is dependant on state, whereas every male in the US is subject to selective service.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 05:28 PM

Not the American people, the American government thinks it needs it, meaning it intends to use it in the event of a large scale war. The selective service act is very unpopular among voters of both sides of the political isle, but it has bipartisan support from politicians. A mans rights being contingent on consenting te get drafted is a clear instance of institutional sexism, your insisetence otherwise is nonsense.

The two largest predictors of child abuse are poverty and single parenthood. Deadbeat fathers are major contributors to this problem. Single parenthood isnt always the fathers fault. I know its just one example, but my brother was abused by his ex wife, so bad that he had to divorce her eventually. Even though he was begging for at the very least an even split, he wanted full custody because of her abusive behavior, the court decided he would only get on week a month cuatody. He even provided ev…

It is a fact, not a hypothesis. Its not a fact. Its an assumption made from a flimsy corelation. There has been no research to suggest ammount of time spent with a child leads to abuse, there are plenty of parents who spend all day with their children and yet dont abuse them. Mothers who abuse children generally have anger management issues. And why should poverty be an excuse? Is poverty an excuse for a husband to abuse his wife?

Was I talking about sexual abuse? No. So why did you bring it up? Id also like to point out that instances of mothers sexually abusing children is rarely reported, and even more rarely acted on by authorities in comparison to cases of fathers sexually abusing children. Fact is theres a deeply ingrained cultural bias thqt tells us mothers dont do these reprehensible things. So its far more common than crime stats would suggest. Ah yep, there it is, spending more time a child does not give a persom the right to abuse that child, the fact that you try to excuse and justify the bahviour of abusive mothers is frankly disgusting. This hypothesis that mothers abuse their children more because they spend more time with their children does not explain why single mothers are two times as likely to phyisically abuse their children as single fathers. And it also doesnt explain why mothers are more likely to phyisically abuse sons…

But women are responsible for their own behaviour. Turns out women are more likely than men to physically abuse their children. And boys are much more likely to be subject to extreme physical abuse while growing up. A common theme among violent criminals is a violent upbringing.

You could make the argument that mens standards also relate to family formation in that bueaty is generally a sign of good health. This is all just speculative. Fact of the matter is a majority of women still believe the patriarchal idea that their man should make more than them.

Id say a lot of thst has to do with the stigma about men who are abused by their wives, in the moment they were hurt by them but after both the police and peers dismiss their concerns they say their report was false. Id also like to point out that what you posted was a singular study, the one I posted is a meta analysis of multiple studies, so its stronger.

How come every single bachelorette party my girlfriends have gone to has had a male stripper, and yet every single bavhelor psrty ive been to hasnt included a single stripper? What it means is there is no mental difference between men and women, just a physical one. Some feminists try fo suggest that women are mentally superior to men, and this study along with others disproves that. And I think we should all exercise the same level of self control, dont be violent towards others, thats a rule both men and women should follow.

Studys show that women are more likely to initiate domestic violence. Women are not less visual, the format of porn mags does not appeal to the vast majority of women. I went to a local clothing optional beach last summer and the ammount of fully clothed women gawking at nude men would suggest that yes, women are just as visual, and just as perverted, as men.

Great, and there are men who value women for things other than looks, but its a fact that a lot of men have some pretty toxic standards about womens bodies. Dont you think we should strive to lessen/ eliminate the pervasive beauty standards placed on women? Do you really want to be with a woman who is only in to you for the money? Wouldn’t you rather be with someone who is hot for you for you? I find this response to be a bit of a cop out because it could be used to dismiss anyone who raises concerns about broadly held standards. Like imagine saying the same to a woman who is ciriticizing the unrealistic beauty standards some men have for women "do you really want to date a guy that only values you for your body?" It completely sidesteps her critic…

I dont really care what they do in other countries. Its quite simple really, an 18 year old is not a child, at that point a person is physically, mentally and legally a young adult, and it is their choice who they would like to enter a relationship with. At age of young adulthood a person becomes responsible for their own decisions, its not the responsibility of the state or their parents to protect them from their own bad choices anymore. Relationships with large age gaps can be weired and even…
