Not the best idea, this is what Duane Portman, the "rapist" who was shot in the face by his "victim" attempted to do. 1	False Rape Allegation Police officers are forbidden by policy from deciding not to report a rape allegation. If an allegation is made, it MUST be followed up on. As for her being "all talk", the USUAL COURSE of a false rape allegation is that the accuser will not directly report it to the authorities, she will spread the story to friends or family and wait for someone else to report it for her, so rather than being a good sign, her spreading of rumours shows active intent to take things further.
