You sound like a raving mad man right now. Is there a specific CDC study that youre referring to? because I have no idea what you are talking about. It seems like one study has a definition of rape you don’t agree with? and youre using that to discredit an entire field of study? You either know you’re being ridiculous and just don’t care about science and data or you’re EXTREMELY ignorant And don’t care about science or data. you’re trying to argue against an objective fact right now and you loo…

so you honestly believe the vast majority of sociological research (which is indeed science) regarding intimate partner violence is sexist and dishonest? how or why is it sexist and dishonest? Because the data goes against your worldveiw? Like… you believe the bureau of justice statistics is lying? Or the CDC? Or WHO? Or the national institute of health? Or literally every accredited university with a sociology program? That’s just so unscientific of you I really don’t know what to say.

depressing fact: Black Americans are SEVEN times more likely than white Americans to be falsely convicted of serious crimes, including rape.

”male tears” is a joke making fun of the stereotype that feminists hate men (the joke being they hate men so much that they drink or bathe in their tears), and its also pokes fun at men who get upset with things like a female leads in action videos games or action movies, etc.. it’s in no way shaming men for crying or for expressing legitimate suffering. the fact that you unironically think feminists derive joy from boys/men suffering is actually the point of the joke lol

Feminists preach but don't practice you believe feminists shame men and boys for crying? because I’ve been in feminists circles for a long while now (irl & online) and that’s pretty antithetical to their beliefs and values.

societal values regarding gender definitely play a role in domestic abuse. just look at all the research and meta analysis. Take as one example the stereotype that women are naturally more submissive and men are naturally more aggressive. It’s pretty obvious to me that this stereotypes alone can play a part in domestic abuse. if we attribute innate attributes to one’s gender it’s going to have real life consequences (good or bad) so I have a question for you. there are a lot (I mean a lot) of st…

Is this post really appropriate for this sub? arent we here to discuss men’s rights?

Men aren't allowed to flirt or show attraction or even have sex anymore. Good new, whoever told this to you is lying! There’s nothing stopping you from sexually engaging with people, theres just good ways and bad ways to do it.

interesting perspective. definitely agree about the sexy part! But you don’t have to be a woman to be a feminist, you should check out r/menslib

lol, I’m not dressing anything up, just explaining what the body positivity movement is all about. I get the impression that most of the information you get about this subject are from “anti-sjw“ type media sources, so your perspective might be a little bit biased. I’m on r/Mensliberation and r/Feminism a lot and they’re very against heightism and body shaming men in general, but nobody’s perfect. Anyways, have a good one my dude.

Yes! Feminists and Men’s lib groups have been saying this for a while now. Shaming boys and men for crying is borderline sickening. Thankfully this whole “boys don’t cry“ attitude isn’t so popular with the younger generations.

It doesn’t seem like you’ve seen very much body positivity content to be honest. weight and (armpit) hair are just two aspects of a much broader idea. body positivity is all about self-esteem and loving yourself despite societies perceived flaws. you mentioned you were thin for example, some people believe thinner men are less “manly“ then shredded men. I think we can both agree that that’s pretty bogus.

telling it how it is, huh? lol I know a lot of thick boys in my personal life who are seeing some very beautiful women. Most women are attracted primarily to good personalities. Body positivity is for everyone, give it a try my guy!

no one, literally no one is stopping you from creating a body positivity movement for men. dont hate on Women for doing things your too lazy to do. Feminism Ftw

exactly! That’s why I NEVER let my gf hang out with her friends, they’ll teach her about feminism and then she wouldn’t be with me anymore.

damn, women sounds really bad and scary. Thank god you‘ll never have to deal with them (you know, relationship wise at least)

Nothing better than a man who calls women “females”, definitely not a red flag or anything. Also, where did you get your degree in biological determanism?

Right. The comment… For the woman they are only "in love" with what a man can provide. Once that dries up or god forbid there is a hiccup (job loss, depression, illness) they look for the next shiny object that they can fall "in love" with. is completely acceptable to you, but me expressing anger at this absolute shit heap of a generalization is “putrid”. pure projection. You people say the most vile and sexist shit. You’re all such fucking losers.

Right, you totally love women! that‘s why your a member of this extremely sexist, incel filled, women hating subreddit, because of “love“. Seriously though, you would never want the women in your life to know that you were a member of community. Why is that?

make Some friends and change your life. this whole incel vibe you’re going with isn’t going to end well for you. It won’t make you happy, seriously, just look at yourself In the mirror. You don’t have to be the disgusting pig You see Looking back. Why are you choosing to live this way?

I never once told you how to feel, I’m merely saying you’re a giant piece of shit. and the fact that all the other loveless incels on this sub would agree with you is utterly meaningless. Get off the internet and express your views to people IRL and see how they react. why don’t you tell your family members or coworkers your opinions of women? Do you you honestly think they would agree with you? No, they would look at you like the sexist fucking weirdo you are. For shame. Goodbye.

what a terribly sexist generalization. do you actually believe the shit your spewing?

Men’s lib isn’t a “feminist sub in disguise“, it’s just straight up a feminist sub. The idea of men’s liberation is to liberate men from the patriarchy. It advocates for all the good things this sub advocates for but without the sexist incel baggage.

I doubt your self improvement is going nowhere man, it can be hard so see progress you’ve made if you’re too self critical and too hyper focused. Keep it up! I’m sure those around you have started to see a difference. its just really really not good to have the mindset that it’s a women’s fault for not wanting to date you. That’s heading down the sad road of Incel ideology which you need to avoid at all costs. If you stay positive and continue your self improvement i promise you things will chan…

so the fact that women receive praise on the internet means they’re not oppressed? Also, you realize that women also get heaps and heaps of negative comments, right?

its ”unfair” that women don’t want to date you?

> men have it harder in any way than women do. you may feel this way but this is factually incorrect. One example (of many), women and girls experience higher rates of rape/sexual assault. this is an uncontroversial fact.

Getting banned on online spaces for violating TOS is not an attack on free speech. For example, painting trans women with a broad brush and calling them "perverted crossdressing pedophiles who are coming for your children" will get you banned on many social media websites. Why? The biggest reason is because this kind of rhetoric actively promotes violence towards an extremely downtrodden group of people.
