When I start to get anxious about how I'm going to feel in my new digs I think about the misery and anxiety and that was part of my life 14 years. Now I can get into anything that I want with regards to Hobbies interests Etc. Those things were disregarded outright for 14 years. Also remind myself of the misery I experienced and suddenly... So my Mom re-married to another man when I was 6 and he legally adopted my brother and I and we each took his last name. So he was my Dad. After about 5 years they too divorced - but - EVERY Wednesday through junior year of high school he took me and my brother (and the daughter he had with my Mom) out for activities.
