Dang man yea sounds just like what im going through tbh - ironically she is now encouraging her brother (which is a good dude) to come via parent petition but when i asked her she said that if her parents dont have a house “yet” then its her brother and will take him in. I literally bert starred her and said nope. She has other priorities and im the last one, i can accept my kids being top two but refuse to be behind her parents as i have put her before my own flesh and blood i married her to ha…

I agree.. now i see why many men kind of thrift away to the garage and just bear the weight. I think that its only now that men are seeing it for the scam that it is.. wish i would have seen it but my parents never divorced so didnt see that happening to me. That trust is now forever broken too

Yea i thought about it but at this point i am the one that doesn’t want to fix this anymore.. mind you, i never believed in divorce and thought it was never an option until she brought it up multiple times. The next fight can be the last based on her own “threats” against me.. that weaponization is gone

Frankly.. I always thought that the only way i’d divorce was if there was some kind of affair against me, didnt think about feelings. I was young immature i think i didnt value myself enough to admit that i also needed to be happy. Now i’m married and realize that i also deserve to be happy, i provide for my family beyond what most men should and feel so empty now. The nagging the disrespect, and the loneliness have made me re-evaluate so much and wish that i before i could have loved someone fo…

Ok you bagged a 10/10 and even got kids with thats more than most can do lol but all seriousness theres no point in reminiscing friend - you got to look forward, work on yourself and work on the relationship with your children and if you need someone date someone that you get along with but leave it that. IK that once the time comes for me i will never want to get married again it really is a scam.

I would let it go, your going to be divorced soon anyway. If you bring that up it will look like you still care (in a petty way) so just move on things are never perfect, if anything be glad she isn't being vindictive during this process.

I think ya’ll should see a counselor/therapy specially if you identify the issue is conflict resolution. GL

Hey man sorry to read this, but you gotta be strong for your kids and yourself. They need you more than you know and what you are going through is hard, i know bc most guys here are hurting one way or another but don't let those emotions get to you. You gotta regroup and come back stronger ready to face the odds.

Hey man sorry to hear this. I can relate, things have shifted for me as well. My wife is the same way.. putting my family down comparing mine to hers (even thought they leech off of me in my own house) and being disrespectful towards me as well. A whole list of stuff at this point. I also have a 8 month old and 2 year old and i have been strong for them but i am so worn down at this point i am not myself anymore. But starting to think i'd be a better father on my own terms actually being happy, …

Its your man "aura".. men tend to put their kids/wife before them even it means getting crapped on. But i think there is a limit because before you truly love your kids/wife you got to love yourself, and you cant do that if you arent happy and if you are already in divorce- you werent. I was thinking the same way, but now its shifted, think, what would my kids be seeing everyday.. parents that fight and yell at each other often? a father who is always upset or seems defeated? a mother who goes o…

yea its a huge fear i had since the divorce idea came to mind... i had a case evaluation done by a law firm and once i begin the divorce process they said they would put an judicial order so they kids can't leave the US without proper consent

No… high chance you can end up back broken amd even worse off. Every fight, every annoyance, every disagreement will give her (mostly) firepower against you and point to your separation.

I kinda feel you.. ever since i brought in my wifes parents, she seems happier with them than with me me… she even treats them better than me. Its a sad feeling bc im not even divorced and this is pushing me to do that tbh..

Thanks for that info. I did read some cases where that happens, i have parents that are more than happy to help (as my wife has managed to alienate them) i guess i worry that the court sides with the mom bc shes a woman i feel like i do just as good of a job watching over them

Thanks for sharing.. ultimately i work from home 3 days per week and my family has said they can support me with watching the kids when needed. But again the things i hear really make me doubt.. be a defeated father or not see my kids is a hard pill to look at

Hey I began searching for lawyers and yea.. clarity is much needed here. I co-sponsored them to live here and begin their residency process. Definitely took my kindness and live for her for a weakness.
