Wanting a family is an ambition. So is wanting a career. Men have been able to do both for all of history so what is the issue with women wanting both as well?

“It’s common knowledge” yet I don’t know a single person who has had an abortion without discussing it extensively with their partner. “It’s common knowledge” yet there are states where the man HAS to consent, even in cases of rape, to an abortion. Also, a quick search found this study: https://www.guttmacher.org/sites/default/files/pdfs/pubs/journals/j.whi.2020.10.007.pdf in which they found that most women not only informed their partner of their intent to get an abortion, but also had their s…

Lmao in society we all depend on each other in some way. You depend on people who build roads to get to work. I depend on the people at my grocery store to show up so I can buy food. The level of dependence we have on society is different than being dependent on a man for finances or for emotional needs.

Show me a study that proves the “vast majority” of abortions are done without the father’s consent that doesn’t factor in rape or abandonment.

You keep referring to this nebulous “top 20% of men” and not explaining. Please elaborate. Also, the end decision comes down to the woman, yes. But in a healthy relationship it should be agreed upon by a couple. A man isn’t the one who has to undergo the physical trauma of childbirth, and a man isn’t the one who will have to take time off of work or school to recover from giving birth. So if a woman wants out? She should have the right to decide not to have a child. You can dislike that all you …

Sorry, typo, I edited my comment. Meant to say, pregnancy cannot happen without men, therefore it makes no sense to place 100% of the child responsibility on the woman
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 04:17 PM
2

Lmao that’s not a strawman, you literally said that a pregnancy is 100% a woman’s responsibility, disregarding the fact that pregnancy literally cannot happen without a man’s involvement.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 03:32 PM

So women should never have sex with men by that logic. Because people change.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 03:26 PM
2

So how is that 100% of the woman’s fault and 0% of the man’s fault? How is the woman responsible for the man running out on his child?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 03:18 PM

And men have never once been influenced by propaganda?

If every woman abstained from sex until they wanted kids, some men would scream and cry and demand that rape be legalized because “needs.” Also - the onus for kids is 50/50. Men run out on pregnant women all the time. Choosing to abort a clump of cells that doesn’t have a heartbeat or brain activity is a completely valid response to finding out you have to raise a child all alone. Besides - I wasn’t just talking about abortion either. Birth control as a whole is a right that we would like to sti…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 02:32 PM

Is that your only defense? Like the only reason you believe women don’t know what they want is because of cigarettes?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 02:08 PM

Women do want to be able to be independent and able to have a life that doesn’t entirely depend on a man. That statement can coexist with the idea that women also want to have relationships and families.

Lmao, you make it sound like women are taking mifepristone left right and center.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 11:42 AM

No, feminists literally just wanted the right to vote and now we would like to keep the right to decide when we have kids.

It’s important to note that just because something is illegal or not allowed, that doesn’t mean it never ever happens. There’s a hush-hush culture in many workplaces surrounding pay, and that’s because companies can and will pay people more for whatever reason if they really want to. It’s expensive and time consuming to hire a lawyer, so if you find out you’re making less than someone and you suspect it’s due to your gender, it’s oftentimes easier to either just quit or shut up about it. Additio…

Inflation. You’re the second person to ask that. If you’re gonna connect it to women in the workforce, please do enlighten me because the other person called me stupid and then never explained.

I’m so serious, please explain to me how this is a factor.

And again, even if every single woman wanted to stay home and be a mom and every single man wanted to work and provide, the real world doesn’t work like that and removing women’s agency to decide is never a solution. Women are moving further left because we don’t want to be forced into motherhood and being a wife, and idk why men trend towards remaining conservative but that’s that. I’m bored of this so I’m gonna stop replying.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 11:01 PM

You can claim evolution all you want, but some women don’t want to be homemakers and some men don’t want to be providers. And I’m sure there’s lots of women who would like to be homemakers, but it isn’t financially viable
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 10:29 PM

Ok, so household labor and childcare should reflect that. A balance can be struck where whoever works slightly less does slightly more at home. Problem solved.

You made your point, men, on average, work more hours. But you haven’t explained how that justifies women doing all of the child rearing and housekeeping - which is where we started.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 10:06 PM
3

I’m telling you that some men work more hours than women. And some women work more hours than men. On average the difference is less than an hour.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 09:54 PM
3

The data says there’s 52 minutes difference in an average workday between men and women. I’m citing the link you posted. Are you telling me the data you provided is wrong?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 09:48 PM
4

There’s less than an hour difference in the average workday of a full time working man and woman in the source you cited.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 09:19 PM

What “raw data” beyond your hypothetical about a man working 12 hours a day and a woman working none? Which, for what it’s worth, I agree with you on - if there’s a significant divide in work, like one person working and one person not working, then household chores should fall on the person who stays at home. That hypothetical is not the reality for most people though.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 08:49 PM

So why not impart your economic knowledge upon me?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 08:41 PM
10

So again- how does that work out when most places in America are not affordable on one average income?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 08:37 PM
17

You’re generalizing. Not every man works 12 hour days, and not every relationship is comprised of a man who works more than a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 08:25 PM
12

Inflation. Which has many root causes. But I assume you have some explanation for that which pins women working as the cause?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 08:24 PM
8

You didn’t address any of what I actually asked. Your idea of a perfect society is entirely dependent on people having lots of money and stability. I’m sure lots of women would love to not have to work, but that’s literally not an option in today’s world.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 08:17 PM

In most places, one income cannot support a family. Maybe with 1 kid in a low cost of living area you could scrape by, but with everything getting so expensive it’s just not feasible. How do you think it would work out if we banned all women from working? Because women being in the workforce has always been necessary.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 08:15 PM

Even if we were biologically designed to do so, how do you expect this to work in the real world where most families cannot live off of a single income and most jobs aren’t keeping up with inflation?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 08:09 PM

What about orphans? What about kids in low-income families? What about single parents who can’t afford to support their child beyond adulthood? That just sounds like it would make fewer people want to have children, daughters especially.

This. I don’t really care if men want to seek options elsewhere - that’s fine! There’s plenty of “western women” who DO want the same things as them, and if they decide that their efforts to find them are too much and that they’d rather look elsewhere, why would I care? I DO care about the fact that every single self-named “passport bro” goes into extreme detail about just how much he loathes an entire group of women because a handful of them didn’t want to bang him. It’s a problem to them when …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 07:50 PM

The ideological divide is well documented, yes. But placing all of the responsibility (the nebulous terms of wife and mother, which entail a lot of different roles) on women for housework/childcare and implying that having a career is an OPTION and not a REQUIREMENT is just not a valid point. Most women do not get to choose to just be a wife and mother. Most families cannot survive on one income. How are you supposed to survive financially if you decide to be a layabout until you meet a man? Add…

The reason this is happening is because our lives are moving online. People nowadays have smaller social circles and date less than people did in the past. It’s got nothing to do with consent, and everything to do with the fact that we are less connected to people in our lives as a whole.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 02:23 PM

Where did I make a single generalizing statement about men?
/r/PussyPassDenied12/11/25 10:12 PM
3

Generalizing every single woman as rude for no reason, never having to take responsibility for anything, and having unreasonable standards is certainly not the most pro-woman stance ever. This sub is about isolated incidents of women being awful, but I’m starting to realize some people are mistaking it for ALL women being awful.

Didn’t realize this had become a sub for hating all women
/r/PussyPassDenied12/11/25 11:47 AM

And women evidently can do no right in some people’s eyes either. And here we are. My point is maybe don’t take advice from women online if you think it’s so silly and ridiculous. All I’m saying is women who are bristly about cold approaches have probably had a bad experience.
/r/PussyPassDenied12/11/25 12:09 AM

You do realize that most women who share negative experiences about cold approaches have had some really freaky shit happen to them right?
/r/PussyPassDenied11/11/25 11:50 PM

I mean, you’re still generalizing. Most women aren’t on the dating apps. You’re basing your sentiments of “they expect the world” and “they provide absolutely nothing” off of like .001% of women.

What nobody wants to hear is that it’s like that for everyone. Men are the main population of Reddit users so we only hear about their side of it. I’ve gotten ghosted, stood up, ignored, and straight up assaulted on a date and I don’t think all men are bad.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/11/25 09:39 PM

Generalizing women as being ridiculous based off of your few experiences and treating us as a monolith will not help you.

I feel like that’s 99% of what I see in this sub. It’s rape. Like by definition it’s rape. It’s disingenuous journalism to try to call it anything else - anyone who is a minor cannot consent to sex with someone who is an adult.

“Lured him into sex” = coerced and raped him Hopefully she spends a long time behind bars
/r/PussyPassDenied06/11/25 03:32 PM

Never said everything is transphobic. People go through HRT and surgery and spend thousands of dollars and lose friends and family for themselves, not because they want to beat women.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/25 05:22 PM

Believing that trans women only exist to harm cis women is transphobia.

Oh lmao I mean I’ve never seen it happen. Not saying it never does but I feel like assault of this nature would be reported on more if it was actually happening. Like even far right media doesn’t use this as an anti-trans talking point….
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/25 04:32 PM

Lol beat women at what?
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/25 04:28 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
