There are lots of inexperienced youngsters and angry, fuming transitioning-betas on this site who en masse reject anything that doesn't conform to their worldview in all respects. Nuanced posts/comments with subtle points and deep analysis get short shifted as a consequence. But you should be happy - you got lots of people who appreciated that post. And frankly, this is a redpill moment - as I hope you can recognize. Accept the positive, be amused at the negative. Remove this butthurt post. If p…

The problem with music is that it is mentally satiating; it leaves us in a state of repose and placidity. (even heavy metal/rock- they benumb us). This means that we have found mental satisfaction in a parallel activity, which means our drive and motivation to succeed/accomplish our main activity is subtly diminished (this is noticeable only in retrospect, as you have found out for yourself) Further, music divides our attention when using it while working/doing any activity; it siphons off our m…

I'll write a detailed post on that soon, when leisure and mood coincide.

This is a perceptive observation. Men are continual, women are discrete. Men's actions and thoughts follow a long-arc logic, a bit like playing football; women react to/follow whatever's present in their field of perception at that instant, a bit like playing cricket- one ball at a time. The key to dealing with them is to be meta-aware of us vs them whenever interacting with them. This is a state of mind that is attainable after a small effort. (It's also easily attainable by men, because men's …

Man, thanks for educating us about this. No one gives a damn about men's health concerns. Testicular cancer is very serious. Glad that it was diagnosed early and that you're dealing with it like a man. More power to you brother. Pls do update on the rest. Take care and God bless

Being a "nice guy" is basically being weak. By being a "nice guy", one acts contrary to the natural principles of enlightened self-interest. That shit weakens you internally. And the one cardinal sin for a man is weakness.

a man in the 1830's had options; go fight the Indians, explore the west etc... these were viable and real opportunities that imbued life with the mystery of the physical frontier. These opportunities quenched man's thirst for spiritual freedom. Who gives a fuck about their wife when their three buddies are gearing up horses and packs for a western campaign? To me, this is the origin of the dread game; women fearing that the men will go to war or explore. Yes, spot on diagnosis. When you add /u/R…

when there is no more external frontier to explore, the vastness of the mind is all each and every one of us has, in our possession, right now, to explore forever. This is insightful to the max. Thanks for putting this thought in words.

You and all the mods deserve thanks for refusing to accept and permit anything less than first grade material. This, more than anything, has made TRP a haven of truth for men. I am visiting TRP after a gap of few days, and am noticing a solid upsurge in posts' quality. I eagerly await your new material.

Listen kid, the core tenet of TRP is authenticity, truth. Being true to who you are, and bettering yourself if you find lacunae in you. That's it. Emotions are normal for any human being. Being RP does not mean suppressing your emotions, it means taking charge of them, harnessing them for your own good. So do not run away from your emotions, just calmly analyze them, and do what you think is best for you. And sexual orientation is also not written in stone. Its a scale, not a binary digit. Whate…

Awareness about the current state of family law and popular science fiction movies is not necessarily an indicator of RP. The kid is a law student with good grades - he can analyze the legal situation of men for himself. You need to assess his skills for job suitability, that's all. Plus, it's just an internship - you have all the time in the world to weed him out if you find him unsuitable, in any way.

Start saving whatever you can without compromising on healthy food and earmark it for future travels. Work upon your skills to better your earning situation. Browse local meetup groups to find people that do something you like. Join them. Apply with groups that volunteer overseas. Read up on your target countries in preparation for your future travels. Make friends on language exchange platforms to learn new languages that are spoken in your target countries. Good luck.

We need to have a healthy disrespect for data. The older I grow, the more I realize that these "scientific studies" are nothing more than glorified polls, one whose statistical accuracy peters out where the sample size ends. Hell, a random sample audit of travel vouchers would be more accurate than these so called "studies". Believe in instinct and insight more. That's eons of evolution encoded in genes interacting with centuries of experience absorbed in diligent study.

Nothing unique; life's shit tests are commonly known as being handed a lemon. And holding frame is nothing but making lemonade out of it.

At 18, I started working out in the gym and began getting a lot of attention from women, so I took advantage of it. No, you didn't take advantage of it - they took advantage of you. I am reminded of a quip from Byron, who said something to the effect that far from being a ravisher himself, as was often portrayed, it was he who had been ravished by women. Some truth there.

I don't know how I missed reading this in its entirety earlier. Solid post. A great man once said, “Nature has given women so much power that the law has very wisely given them little.” Now nature and law have converged. Awareness and strength are the only friends of men.

This post is A-1 grade analysis. Yes, every communication is essentially a negotiation; and the one who has more leverage gets the upper hand.
