That's what they claim to want, but not really. For example, any violence against females (like in that recent X-men poster) will get them complaining. And it's horrible objectification if women show any skin, but it's nice that there are some shirtless men in the movie, etc.

I like this "hate" (realism) towards women. It helps to counter our biological urges. Infatuation/attraction/love can blind us, so it's good to have constant reminders of female nature. I actually believe that both men and women are inherently selfish assholes, but it's especially women who want to force men into provider/protector/slave role. Male selfishness on the other hand is usually beneficial, because you can easily form friendships, alliances and other win-win situations with them.

I've seen in concerts how some women act when they see a rock star. They will scream as loud as they can and grab his clothes, his dick, anything they can, if they get close enough. It's aggressive and brutal. And probably these same women will later teach men how "yes means yes" and how awful it is when men gaze at their direction. So yes, women do "initiate" already with some. Very good stuff. Although I don't fully agree with everything there. For example, the "one unifying idea of MGTOW": The recognition of the way modern society really works when it comes to the sexes, and a refusal to buy into and feed the system. There were MGTOWs before modern societies and there will be after. This is because there are biological and practical reasons for men to avoid commitment.

True. And I also enjoy video games a lot. I haven't heard anything in MGTOW philosophy that would be against gaming. Maybe those who are really into self development would have a problem with it, but that's not really our thing (as far as I understand).

Well said! I think it's especially important to question everything when it comes to your own group / stuff you tend to automatically agree with. As for myself, I've always been a loner. Relationships didn't leave me bitter, but bored and disillusioned. So MGTOW theory is mostly giving me just more reasons for my way of life.

Getting older helps a lot. Female validation, your looks and success can seem extremely important when you are young. But with age many men start seeing those things as what they are: stress and misery. There is no long-term peace and happiness found in outside approval and validation.

I've found that time really is the most valuable resource there is. But most men sell their lives for almost nothing, for things like pussy, approval and slightly more expensive toys. And all of those things just make them even less free. It's good for us all to remember that we will never be as young as we are now and that our health and sharp minds won't last forever. So enjoy life, do what you want and don't give fuck what anyone else tells you to be.

I think a lack of motivation to, for example, work for 12 hours a day is very natural for MGTOW, because we tend to care less what women and society thinks of us. And those are usually the main motivations that men have to do something unpleasant. I don't have a real advice for you, because I'm also not very productive.
