If it's at the state level (you weren't kidnapped and taken across state lines) then yes there is a statute of limitations. But, Kansas does have theirs structured depending on whether you were younger than 18 or 18 or older when kidnapped. In Illinois where I live it's a simple 10 years regardless of age. Only federal level kidnapping doesn't have a statute of limitations.

How do you know all of his facts are true? You Shapiro worshippers have such a tribal mindset, the dude could tell you the sky is pink and you'd take his word for it instead of going outside and looking for yourself. I already have kids. And I have them full time as I'm in a healthy, successful marriage. What I don't do is follow them around and coddle them every time they fall down or get a scrape on their leg. 4-H has changed a lot since I was in it (mid 90's). We started at the county level and from there went to state, etc. I'm pretty sure here in southern Illinois that Jane would have gotten laughed out of the place for doing a gender equality report on soccer.

I'm soon to be in this same situation. I love my kids and my first born quite likely saved my life. The real problem is the relationship between my wife and I. We are separating and more than likely, although not 100%, getting divorced. But never, and I mean NEVER would I ditch my kids so I could hang out and smoke all day. Clearly you don't understand the constitution. The first amendment says you can't be prosecuted by the government for stating your beliefs. A company however, can fire you for anything detrimental to business by stating your beliefs, especially if those beliefs inflame the target audience.
