4	Should I enlist in the Military? It's a tough call man. Unless you plan on making a career out of it, you're going to be getting a late start compared to everyone your age afterwards. I joined the marines when I was 19 and have been out for about a year now and I'm 24. I've found that I'm surrounded by people younger than me in almost all aspects of my life. It will be glaringly apparent it you're even older. You stand to gain quite a bit by joining though. The GI bill is an amazing program and worth a ton of money.
