Well I guess I worry that the girl will get with me and find out that I’m really not all that and cheat on me and leave me. It’s pretty irrational now that I think about it.

Well everyone has insecurities but I believe I have more severe insecurities and low self worth/self esteem issues from childhood. Then I dated in high school and got cheated on+emotionally abused by both girls I dated. Shit happens but I guess I really took it to heart and for the last 2 years of my life I have been searching for what is ‘wrong with me’ daily. Of course I found a lot of things wrong with me and I focused on them and they are now insecurities. Bad facial symmetry, not tall, weir…

I think I actually have many definitions. A solid sense that you are a capable person. A sense of belief in yourself. A belief that you will be ok if you get rejected, if someone leaves you or hurts you etc., A belief in your abilities. Feeling comfortable in most situations etc.

How do you suggest improving your self confidence? I lift, eat well, have a good self care routine, meditate, work etc and I still don’t have much self confidence.
