The Soft Guy Era
There’s a remarkable trend recently making the rounds on the social media platform TikTok. Men have embraced a new trend known as “The Soft Guy Era” where they humorously mimic and mock the unrealistic dating expectations placed on them by women, in videos produced by women and in IRL.
This trend is fast growing into a movement, so here I’ll quote a number of side splitting quips and break it down.
‘Drizzle Drizzle’ and ‘The Soft Guy Era’ is a response to ‘The Soft Girl Era’ of 2023. The ‘Drizzle Drizzle’ Trend finds its roots in the ‘Sprinkle Sprinkle’ phrase popularized by Leticia Padwell AKA shur7. Essentially, “Sprinkle Sprinkle” and “Drizzle Drizzle” means ‘support me’ from the female and male perspectives, respectively.
What began as a humorous response to dating culture has evolved into a satirical commentary on gender expectations. The recast caricature of men that is portrayed as “The Soft Guy” is a man who wants to find a ‘high value woman’ who can pay all their expenses and ‘take care’ of them in all the ridiculous ways that we’ve heard women demanding from men over the past year or so.
The irony is thick enough to chew on all day. Some of the demands of these men are downright hilarious. These demands include things like,
- She has to pay all his bills / expenses.
- She has to have a high paying job / money.
- She has to be beautiful, feminine, intelligent, mature, etc.
Every parody ends with the man saying, “Drizzle Drizzle”, which makes it clear to the viewers that it’s a joke.
And, what do YOU bring to the table?
Men are asking what women ‘bring to the table’ or have to offer them in a relationship.
When men are asked what they are ‘bringing to the table’, they’re saying exactly what women have been saying for the past year or two.
“I AM the table, baby! Drizzle Drizzle.”
“I don’t bring nothing to the table. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“I bring my softness and my sweetness, honey. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“When we go on a date, I want to go Dutch. 50/50. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“I’m the guest of honor. You bring me something, okay? Drizzle Drizzle.”
“If I don’t like the color of your dress, then you’ll be ghosted in a hurry. I ain’t got no time for women in bad attire. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“Well, if I were your waiter, I’d bring your order … and you better have my tip! But I’m not a waiter so I bring nothing to the table. Drizzle Drizzle.”
Flipping the Tables
Men on Tik Tok are turning the tables on femcentric dating and societal norms. They are highlighting the foolishness of unrealistic dating expectations by comically asking for the impossible, all under the banner of The Soft Guy Era.
“This ain’t no Soft Guy ERA, this a SOFT BOY FOREVER! Drizzle Drizzle.”
“I want a Tesla and a Rolex watch. I don’t care how much it costs you because I’m worth it. Drizzle Drizzle”
“If you’re broke don’t even reply to this post / video. This is a non-broke conversation. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“I just bought this $1,000 geode and I already know I’m good with it. So I need you to step up and pay half. Show me we’re equal. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“I want you to pump my gas, and fix my toilet, I want you to open the door for me and lay your coat over a puddle for me to walk on. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“No money?!? Bye! We’re not dealing with it, hon. You go make something of yourself and then come back to the table and we’ll talk business. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“I should not have to ask you for anything. You should be able to ‘feel my energy’. If I have to ask, then I don’t want it. If you wanted to, you would. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“I’m not day trading to lose money. If you find out that I lost $25,000 in the stock market, I better see you put that $25,000 back into my brokerage account. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“No more fake trad girl. No more bait and switch. No more clever skits and witty one-liners. No more fake hair, fake eyebrows, fake lips, and fake tits. I want a REAL WOMAN! Drizzle Drizzle.”
“We’re leaving the broke dusties in the past. If she doesn’t make six figures or more, have six bodies or less or have a 6 feet deep water park (if you know what I’m saying), then she’s out… Drizzle Drizzle.
“This is one of my newest Air BnBs. Prove to me that you’re not broke and book this property for a week. Fly out to Dallas and show me that you’re not a Brokey and that you are my equal. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“Women always think that they’re entitled to sex on demand. Not with me. I ain’t no gigolo. So don’t you get the idea that you’re automatically going to get any sex just cause I got a d!ck in my pants. You gotta EARN your pump and dump the right way! Drizzle Drizzle.”
“Now that women have money, it’s time for them to contribute and work as a team, just like Eve was made to be a helpmate to Adam. So let’s dip into your purse and spend that money now. For starters, I’d like a Porsche so that my side chick won’t be embarrassed to see me driving a Honda. You gotta honor your man properly with some equal treatment. Drizzle Drizzle.”
“I’m in my Soft Guy Era. If you want to be with me, then you need to let me find my purpose in life. I’m taking my $9,000 Fujifilm camera and traveling the world to do some photography and passporting / sex tourism. You need to help me fund that and wait patiently for me until I get tired of F_cking hot foreign women and spending your OnlyF@ns money. And while I’m gone, you can buy me a Munch or a Picasso to show me you’re totally invested and that you appreciate the same kind of art that I appreciate. If you can’t help me start my art gallery then you’re not a good person, because what kind of girl who claims to be a woman doesn’t love art enough to support her man as he starts an art gallery? Drizzle Drizzle.”

Women’s Reactions
Not everyone sees the humor in The Soft Guy Era / Drizzle Drizzle. Some women are so daft and self-centered that they really believe these men are 100% serious!
“Oh, this is ridiculous! No way I can do that!”
“You want a mom / a parent! I don’t want no momma’s boy.”
“Every time I get on this app I’m getting second-hand embarrassment from you men.”
“What has the world come to? Ain’t no man wants to take care of a woman anymore. Chivalry is dead!”
“Listen, any man that’s comfortable with the woman spending money out of her purse don’t get no sympathy from me.”
“These men not gonna chase. Leave men alone who don’t chase. Do you understand why it hurts when the shoe is on the other foot?”
Apparently, many of these women can’t handle the truth.
Some women view it as a mockery of their genuine desires and fail to recognize the underlying message of satire and introspection.
Bathed in rich irony, some women have even gone so far as to call these men g@y and act homophobic towards them for simply asking for equal treatment.
What’s most hilarious is the sheer number of women who are outraged by this Soft Guy Era.

Women literally tell men that they bring nothing to the table. Women have no problem using men for their money. Women have no problem ghosting men. When a particular man is no longer important to a woman, she’ll have no problem slandering him in dating groups for entertainment purposes. As a woman progresses in her mastery of misandry, she’ll begin to treat all men that way in general, all under the guise of being strong independent queens, only to end up more miserable than ever.
Women are their own worst enemy in today’s modern society.
And they say men are lost.
In a way, this is true. The problem is that a lot of men are so out of touch with the natural order that they don’t realize who they are. Thus, they really don’t know they’re being manipulated into conforming to traditional gender roles that only benefit women, while women are conforming to progressive gender roles that are more or less hypoagentic and misandric.
The Soft Guy Era flips the scripts of faux double standards used against men under the guise of ‘gender equality’. It puts societal expectations under a microscope and holds women accountable for their behaviors. It challenges women to face up to the unrealistic demands and standards they are imposing on men and reconsider the foolishness of their own behaviors. It then becomes obvious how ridiculous and unrealistic it sounds when a man says it. But when women say that it is not ridiculous for a woman to say such things, it only proves the men’s point, further fueling the growth of The Soft Guy Era movement.

Game Techniques
The reason Drizzle Drizzle ‘works’ is because it rolls several old school Game techniques into one nice aromatic, long-burning stogie.
- Be funny
- Detachment
- Amused Mastery
- Making demands
- Agree and Amplify
- “Men are the Prize.”
- Stating expectations
- Brinkmanship / Up the Ante
- Mock them in a playful manner.
- “Don’t take women too seriously.”
- Maintain internal locus of control.
- Drawing boundaries (see next section)
- Women are made to be a helpmeet to a man (Adam and Eve).
- The only real power women have is the power men give them.
- Relationship quality is higher when the woman caters to the man’s physical comforts.

Boundaries
Women want men to live up to their unrealistic expectations apparently without ever realizing that there is a limit to what can be reasonably expected of a human being with human weaknesses and limitations. This is how women are — they cannot separate fantasy from reality.
However, men are waking up and they are waking up faster than ever. Givers have to learn to set limits because takers have none. Setting Boundaries Changes Reality.
The Soft Guy phenomenon serves as a powerful illustration of The Law of Cause and Effect by mirroring the unrealistic expectations of society and women back at them. It’s similar to what happens when you mirror a narcissist. Narcissists are absolutely disgusted by those rebellious targets who mirror their behavior back at them. The Narcissist is put into a lose-lose situation because now she has to face herself — the person she is constantly trying to flee from.
Epilogue
Women say they want equality but then they’ll demand the most unequal situations from men, like men paying all the bills. If men acted like this they’d be laughed out the room. So why not turn it into a joke?
If a woman is making money as well, she ought to kick in. But of course, women don’t want to do that. Money shouldn’t ever have to come out of her pocket because… well… She’s a woman. Right? Heh… It doesn’t make any sense. That’s not equality, and that’s now how equality works.
We know that when women demand equality, they’re really seeking female control / superiority / supremacy. They want to have their cake and eat it too. The ‘Sprinkle Sprinkle’ foolishness plays into that narrative but it only works if men believe that women are the prize and try to live up to their unrealistic expectations. However, men are waking up and they are waking up faster than ever.
The Soft Guy Era may appear as a humorous trend on the surface but beneath the laughter lies a profound commentary on the complexities of modern dating by holding up a mirror to society. It’s obvious that the Soft Guy men on TikTok know exactly where they’re going and that is far away from these parasites who bring nothing but liabilities into their lives. We’re reminded that true connection requires empathy, understanding, and perhaps a little Drizzle Drizzle.
