An analogy of Men’s vs Women’s Nature.

Intro

We think of men as hunters and women as gatherers. 

We think of men as being competitive, and women as cooperative.

We are taught to think this way because emphasizing men’s prowess and strength is respectful to men, and cherishing women’s femininity and warmth is charitable to women.

Although it is ‘right’ to think this way, this is not really how it is.

This is only true in games, sports, and social events — fun stuff that doesn’t really matter very much.

Men vs Women

In reality, men are cooperative spigots and women are competitive sponges. Even our anatomy bears this out.

In things that really matter, men are the “Git-R-Done” producers, and women are the “Dog-Eat-Dog” consumers.

Men will form hierarchies and structures to improve quality, efficiency, and output.  Everyone comes along for the ride.

Women will go savage and will attempt to exact vengeance or destroy their competitors if they cannot ‘win’ or get what they want.

Men’s cooperative productive nature is why most men can get along with most other men in an agreeable manner, even when they disagree.

Women’s competitive consuming nature is why women envy and hate other women, even (and especially) when they’re essentially the same.

Epilogue

Sponges absorb spigots. Women LOVE the attention of a high-value man, especially when they can get the attention of a man other women desire and thus cause those women to envy her.

Sponges dry out when the spigot doesn’t spurt. Women HATE the attention of a low-value man, especially when the interaction consumes her time and emotional energy, or the association lowers her social status.

Spigots need an absorbant sponge to spurt in. Men just want to feel like a Ch@d, and ‘know’ (in the Biblical / carnal sense) that his power, his productivity, and his seed are desired, respected, and valued.
