Intelligence is crucially important for winning a war, as is knowing the enemy, as Sun Tzu said centuries ago.

Fortunately for TPTB, Owen Strachan, a writer for the Gospel Coalition, has laid a tomahawk to the weaknesses of their enemy — men.

The Federalist (Owen Strachan): The War On Men Is A War On Civilization (2023/10/10)

[Emphasis mine.]

Readers will note that Strachan cannot discuss men’s issues without also discussing what women want and need and how they are affected.  In nearly every paragraph defending men’s interests, women’s interests are cited as the cause, the motivating factor, or the reason why men’s interests should receive attention.  God forbid that we should ever care about men for their own sake!

Strachan writes as if men are lost, gone, hopeless, and to be pitied, followed by the obligatory chivalrous hat tip to women.

“Men may be disappearing and struggling today. But in such evil days, we speak a different word than anti-male voices. We say this: No man is hopeless. No man is too far gone for God to reach him, remake him, and put him to work. This isn’t an anti-woman statement though. Women and men are made to complement one another, not compete.”

Translation: “We’ve lost male servitude… uh, ahem… our ‘servant leaders’ because of our harsh treatment.  But in rounding up the runaway sl@ves and rallying them to labor, we must always be completely clear that we pose no threat to our female m@sters.”

He fails to mention that Complementarianism is when men fold out of the competition and let women rule the roost.

img-1783681755-6a50d2db5488f0.65481632.jpgThe fine print says only one man is legally permitted to play the formal role of ‘husband’ for legal recourse and public relations.

Strachan writes as if men have failed and have abandoned their posts.

“The catalog of absence — and failure — goes on. Men have disappeared from many families. As Derek Thompson notes at The Atlantic, 80 percent of single-parent homes are headed by mothers.”

In stating that “80 percent of single-parent homes are headed by mothers”, he’s conveniently omitting the fact that 80% of divorces are initiated by women who use the children as mother child support anchors. The other 20% are women who want nothing to do with their children.

And again for emphasis.

“Quite simply, we are looking at a crisis.  A generation of men is ghosting its loved ones, its work environments, and this very world itself.  But men are not the only ones who suffer in this maelstrom; women are directly affected by it as well.

When Strachan says men are absent, disappearing, ghosting, gone, etc., what he means is that men have left the liberal churchian plantation and are no longer serving the gynocracy.  Make no mistake, men are still around, but they’re investing their time, energy, and resources into other things that are less risky and more enjoyable.

“In such a poisoned climate, few now dare to speak on men’s behalf. But we cannot abandon men. As I call for in my book, we must reengage men. The dire situation before us today requires us to fight for men, not against them.”

“Men are sinners, just as women are, and as such need the atoning mercy of God. This is the greatest need of men, not anything the “manosphere” teaches (right or wrong) or Andrew Tate spouts off.”

Note how Strachan identifies the “Manosphere” as a part of the poisoned climate.  Yes, the Red Pill is poison to feminists and those allergic to the truth, but it is a path for change and embitterment embetterment for men.

Strachan believes the way we should stop fighting against men is to remind them they are just as sinful as women supposedly are in the hope that God will have mercy on their poor souls.  Well, we already have plenty of that.  I don’t see how this will make the climate any less poisoned.  Why is it that we never see calls to remind women that they are just as sinful as men?  Well, it is because that would be holding women accountable for their sins, and we mustn’t ever do that, because that would NEVER “win a woman’s heart”, or so it is believed.  (Actually, the opposite is closer to the truth.)  What they really mean is that we should never disrespect women according to women’s concept of respect, NOT men’s.  We should never challenge the gynocracy.  But in fact, holding women accountable is exactly what is absolutely necessary for their own spiritual growth.

Strachan writes the new version of the “Man Up!” message, which is “Don’t give up!”

Win a woman’s heart if called to marriage.  (And keep winning that woman’s heart until you leave this Earth!)  Build a family filled with thriving and well-loved children.  Work hard, and cultivate your vocation, whether it is your “dream job” or not. Join and serve a church. Embrace a life ordered around things bigger than you; don’t get lost in a world of misery, hopelessness, and self-focus.”

Finally, Strachan concludes with an emphasis on men’s penultimate purpose — to serve and support women!

When men flourish, women flourish. But when men falter, women are deeply affected. This is why, in the final analysis, we should not go to war against men as those infused with “toxicity.” We should instead go to men, finding them where they are.”

In this paragraph, Strachan is quite clear that the whole purpose of helping men is to make life easier for women.  But this battle plan is bound to fail.  God will NOT reward arrogant promiscuous women by allowing their lives to be made easier as long as women are in open rebellion against His created order — The dreaded Patriarchy.

Ending on a positive note, at least Strachan has identified W0kery as anti-Christian.

Concluding Statements

Strachan has overlooked some of the key strategic motivations of the enemy and remains oblivious to the real life conditions on the battle field.  Overall, I’m not convinced that Strachan knows the enemy, nor men, well enough to defeat them in this “War on Men”.

Men don’t want or need pity.  Men don’t want or need apostate churchianity.  Men don’t want or need an obsequious pep talk, especially one laced with religious platitudes.  Men need a sphere of authority and a domain of influence.  If they can’t find that in marriage and family, then they’ll go find it elsewhere.  If they can’t find that in church, then they’ll leave the church.  They will find it, even if that means they’ll be all alone.  Tis better to be the king of a peaceful molehill than a harried, emasculated sl@ve of the gynocracy.
