I've been talking to a guy for a week or so and we've got a video chat scheduled for Sunday, all good so far. We exchanged voice notes because we've got different accents. He sent his first but it was honestly a relief, I need to be gently lowered into conversing with a man at this point lmao. He told me I have a beautiful voice and the pick me part of my brain tried to reactivate and return the compliment. The FDS part of my brain is now louder (thank heavens) and I loudly said "compliments are for ME" while standing on my balcony. My neighbours probably think I'm a right narcissist. I'll compliment him when he earns it lol.
