Block and delete can be the right move, but for a sick stalker with sociopathic traits it can work against you.
9 months ago I left my narcissistic NVM husband and filed for divorce (long story short, I over heard a convo of him teaching his friend “how to break a woman” etc.) Thanks to this sub for saving my life because he was about to take “our money” (mines), drag me to a third world unsafe country where police don’t do anything if you being abuse.
Over the past 9 months he has followed and corner every single family member I have in attempts to get back with me. He would park outside my home and just sit there for hours, he’d bring friends along and knock constantly yelling “I know you’re in there”
I filed a restraining order and thankfully I have cameras outside to prove he was stalking BUT if I hadn’t blocked him I would have gotten the restraining order much faster. I’d have proof of the hundred calls and fifty texts he sends after telling him I don’t want him to contact me had I not blocked him.
If a guy is being persistent after you ask him not to contact you that is a red flag for what else he might do without caring about your opinion.
There are so many violent stories about women who leave a LVM. We have rights and we should be using them to the full extend when someone crosses clear boundaries.
