I had a guy majorly mistreat me. We had a casual thing going on and then he started unadding me on social media, adding me back, telling me I was perfect for him JUST NOT RIGHT NOW. It was a lot of pressure and I just wanted to go with the flow. Anyways, a week after he has the weird back and forth episode he invites me over for the night. I was expecting it to be the last time, and it for sure was. He disrespected me, made me feel unsafe, and took off the condom (I caught him less than a minute into the act, but that’s still assault!). When I asked him to take me home, he told me he’d been drinking EVEN THOUGH HE PICKED ME UP, ENDANGERING US BOTH. I was shocked. We had such good chemistry before, he had respected my boundaries in the past, and we had fun together. This was a different side to him. I spent the night because I felt like I didn’t have another option: my roommates were asleep already, the crime rate in our neighborhood is too high to walk at night, and at that time I was scared to take an Uber alone because of those stories you hear about women being kidnapped. He drove me home in the morning, said he’d maybe text me, and he drove off before I closed his car door. I proceeded to unadd him on everything. I knew I needed to dip. He tried to follow me on insta again a month ago, I deleted it. I saw him on a dating app and I reported him, but this morning he sent me both a snap and insta request. I accepted the snap request to see what he wanted and to be able to tell him with my words N-O! I don’t want to keep waking up to requests from him, so I want to reject him with my words. However, he has not contacted me yet. I know he’s playing games and I’m not sure whether I should wait him out and make myself clear or just unadd him again. I want to make myself heard in this situation, and I want to tell him no! But I don’t know what he’s up to and it’s bothering me now. Please give me your thoughts and advice, lovely women of Reddit!
