So I reconnected with this guy I met a couple years back and we were supposed to meet up and hang out yesterday. We didn't set a specific time and date, so I figured we were gonna play it by ear. Then I woke up to this message.

Was honestly taken a little bit aback by how quick he was to jump to conclusions. When I explained to him that I had been asleep he apologized and changed the subject.

We've been chatting for a few weeks, and from what I've gathered he's mellow, well-educated, and has a good social life. Not necessarily planning on dating him, just scoping out the situation for now. But that text gave me the impression that he's insecure and impatient.

What do you ladies think? Is this a possible red flag or am I overthinking things?
