Women are brainwashed from a very young age that their purpose is life is finding a good man and getting married. And that no matter how accomplished a woman is, she has failed if she doesn’t have a husband and kids.But if we think about it, this is a scam.
Women and men are both expected to work in this society. Gone are they days when men were the sole breadwinners. Yet, in a marriage, it’s still mainly the women doing the housework, cooking decent meals and childcare.
In my view, a man microwaving leftover pizza for the kids’ breakfast does NOT count as cooking. Yet men are praised for doing the bare minimum. If a woman does this? Despite her working the same hours as the man? She will be called a lazy, bad mother.
Why is it us that need to do MORE work once we get married?
Why the hell would I get married- to pick up socks after an overgrown manchild who brings nothing to the table? For ungrateful kids that take their mother for granted?
Unless the man is rich and knows how to spoil his woman, marriage is a scam.
