I had a friend whose bf cheated on her and she was bragging about how he's so ashamed that he's ok with her telling her everyone else that he cheated and that's somehow supposed to redeem him? Like DUH he was the one who cheated therefore, he DESERVES to be exposed and publically shamed. Why is this considered some sort of 'good' deed that he's allowing her to do and she in turn is supposed to feel guilty for it??? I'm so confused like sometimes the mental gymnastics women do to justify actions of men they love and in the name of cOmMunicaTion make absolutely no sense. I've seen this reverse guilt trip a lot of times so I'm curious, is this a common tactic?
