Maybe it depends on how you're raised but I've always believed a good day's work gives you a purpose. If you take pride in your work, once you get home and relax with a beer, eat a nice dinner, and go to bed at a reasonable hour I just feel so fulfilled. And its even better when no one is lying in the bed next to me having done jack shit all day and claiming to be tired.
