I was browsing another reddit and came across the following. A man, about to be married got dumped because his ex decided she wanted to ride the CC without guilt messing up her emotional state.
The submission was posted four years ago. The reddit was discussing "At what point did you realize it was time to give up on a relationship".
" I had something similar happen, but 4 years into my relationship just before I got engaged (Thank God in hind sight) she told me she wasn't interested anymore and basically came down to she wanted to fuck around with a guy from work who's married WITH KIDS and didn't want to feel guilty about it. I have been warning her for months about him. I could tell he was out to get a piece of ass basically. (I have never done this to her with any other guy either so it's not like I was being paranoid) She wanted to do what ever she wanted. My question is, how the hell can anyone be so selfish to think that breaking up with someone you've lived with for four years and shared EVERYTHING with, (Bills, food, happiness, misery) would prevent them from having any form of guilt? I see this in girls who get too serious too young. I'm also horrified of the girls who are more experienced. Not because I'm scared of their experience, but because I'm scared that they have a huge appetite and that they're not afraid to bounce around. Regardless of how confident I am in my own abilities, I also know that some people who only want more, even after they've gotten more, will eventually feel it isn't enough. "
