Appendix: The rationale of feminism

  1. I was there to witness the change from the employee thanking the customer to the customer thanking the employee. Sure, some customers would have said thank you and the employees would have said "you're welcome" but it was more often the case that the employee thanked the customer. As equality became more strived for, it became too hierarchical for the employee to thank the customer. Imagine for example, someone offers to take their own bag from a bellhop, and thanks them, possibly with a tip! Such has became the ridiculousness of transactions. This example need not be limited to bellhops, it could also apply to baristas and sandwich artists. Suffice to say, one person is the customer and the other is the service provider. In the strive for equality, it became "out of fashion" to maintain this status quo, yet everything else remained the same: payments made and services rendered. I believe there is an analogy to be made here. One that is some people are willing to accept subordinate roles, but do not want to be viewed as such. In other words, those that were higher in the status quo became apologists of sorts.

  2. Seeing above, anytime one person calls the other a "cheap bastard" they are placing them self in the subordinate role of receiving money. To call someone a "cheap bastard" and not accept the role of subordinate is a violation of the stats quo.

  3. Do not get confused on the difference of fear and avoidance. Fear could mean confrontation or avoidance. Avoidance simply means avoidance. I have no strong emotional fear to any specific disease, but I would assumably try to avoid getting one. If a person claims or seems to be scared of you or suspicious of you, assess what level of effort they have put into avoiding you. It is possible that instead of avoiding you, they want to achieve superiority/control over you, and claiming to be scared or suspicious only helps their cause.

The rationale of feminism: It is better an innocent man goes to jail, than a woman is killed. Basically, all men should go to jail, to avoid the murder of one woman. In most societies, murder is unacceptable, but is it reasonable to jail all men to prevent it?
