As you have probably guessed, this is satire. Cassidy is not actually suing the man who saved her from drowning. HOWEVER, this satire went viral and now eclipses serious real life cases of women who sue the people who save them. Prior to Cassidy, this was something people didn't really talk about. Post-Cassidy, everyone thinks this is a joke. Its not. She may be making fun of the situation for her own purposes, but this does not change the fsct that there are very real consequences in the 21st century if you help to save a woman's life.
