You're misunderstood hypergamy.

Hypergamy is the expression of a woman's instinct to find and lock down the best man she FEELS she can find for a given situation.

Note: I said "FEELS," not "THINKS." Hypergamy is not rational. I think that might be tripping you up.

For example, let's take the hot nurse banging an orderly in the rest home.

When this happens, it's not because of class issues. (Class is almost always a comfort/provider/beta issue, although there are exceptions.)

It's because he gave her tingles. He gave her tingles because, despite the fact that he is uneducated and makes less money than her, he's big, strong, and aggressive. Her hindbrain is telling her that he can keep the bears and saber-tooth tigers out of the cave. And that makes her hot.

The "high school heart throb" she reconnects with via Facebook is only slightly different. Sure, maybe TODAY he's a used car salesman with a pot belly and thinning hair. But when she fell in love with him, he was the Big Man On Campus. He was Captain of the football team, dated cheerleaders, and she just KNEW that he could drive ten-inch spikes through a three-inch-thick kiln dried north american oak board using nothing but his penis. And she missed out because she was too mousey.

He STILL holds that alpha position in her hindbrain.

For some reason, we've decided to give it a name when women do it and we call it hypergamy.

Hypergamy is a strong female instinct to seek out the best man possible to father her babies.

Yes, both men and women are "hypergamous." Men want the hottest/youngest/fittest/tightest woman they can get.

However, women want CONFLICTING THINGS in a man. They want a "NICE" guys who takes care of them and is sweet and supports them. They ALSO want a "BAD" guy who is strong and doesn't take shit from anybody- not even them.

aka "Alpha Fucks" and "Beta Bucks."

So, what you are missing is that men's hypergamy can be satisfied. Give him the youngest, hottest porn starlet he can get given his attraction level and almost all men will be happy and will not seek to branch swing.

However, with women, their hypergamy CAN NEVER BE SATISFIED because they desire conflicting things. If they have Chad Thundercock sticking it deep every night and treating her like a fuck buddy they pine for Billy Beta to hold them tenderly. If they get Billy Beta holding them tenderly they want to be fucked roughly instead.

Next, and perhaps most important. Attractive women are approached CONSTANTLY by men. Even attractive men have to go out and usually make considerable effort to bed a girl. So with a hypergamous branch swinging girl it might "just happen" while a hypergamous boy has to actively go out and seek fresh tang, approach, Instigate, Isolate, Escalate.

In short, all a faithful woman has to say is "no." A faithful man has to work half the night to get a woman to say "yes." There is no comparison to male and female hypergamy. They are so different they may as well be lodged in different species.
