Right, sorry if this isn't directly leading into something, but I'm trying to find an article to show to some friends.

Basically it was about this boy being brought onto a video game show, where they were playing older games. Essentially he was going through a tournament or contest, and eventually it came down to one thing between him and a girl (may have been his sister.) When he won, they forced them to reshoot, and they told the kid that they'd keep reshooting until the girl 'won'. Even the girl called them out on this.

Of course, that's if I'm remembering everything right.
