Should we all be more self reflective.

Seems a lot of people on this Reddit page are bitter towards the opposite sex. And I get it dating in these times can be frustrating (was it ever that easy based on old love songs from the past who knows?) but is there ever a point when you choose to look inward? If every guy you dated was a douche and every woman you dated was hoe is there ever point where you come to realize “I am the common denominator”? Maybe it’s me?

I will say I see a little bit of this in FDS and RP but imo its not always enough. Actually I think FDS is better at this only because it focuses so heavily on developing boundaries and standards which is a huge part of the problem for both sexes, I actually think men don’t focus on that enough like a lot of RP is “pick up” artistry and casting nets which is pretty much bound to attract the exact opposite type of woman RP guys claim they want. I mean are RP guys giving men advice on how to find and attract decent women I don’t frequenters RP spaces (I am a woman) so maybe I just don’t see it but AWALT is a thing so.... Anyhow now I’m rambling and showing my bias my point is while it feels good to vent and complain about the opposite sex I think working on ourselves is much more important and having the right intentions and boundaries/standards is necessary. Some people here have bad intentions as in they want to use people they want to hurt people of the opposite sex because they seek revenge or they’re just angry and then they wonder why they are attracting the wrong people to them all the time or even worse they might meet somebody who is decent and genuine but either push them away on hurt thing them and thus create a cycle of pain revenge and anger. What I’m saying is maybe instead of having that attitude towards life it’s better to be self reflective and work on oneself and make sure that you also have good intentions before going into relationships. Maybe we would all be happier if we weren’t so bitter.
