Hi RPW. I’ve been lurking on this subreddit for a while now and find the advice and strategies to be very useful thus far in my relationship. I recently met my boyfriend‘s parents. They are from India. I am also Indian, but grew up in California. I would like to be able to connect with my potential future mother-in-law better. His family is extremely red pill as they are Sikh Punjabi. I know his family likes me but I would like to understand mother-in-law daughter-in-law dynamics much better. I’ve read so many scary stories about nightmare mother-in-law‘s and I want to prevent as much of those types of situations as possible. Are there any books out there on mother and daughter in law relationships? Everything I’ve found so far has been basic dating advice.
