Before you decide to go through a post posted by a rookie in TRP, here are a few things to keep in mind,
- English is my second language
- This is a first post (I have been a lurker)
- The guts it took to actually put up a post here and not only dream about it were unbelievable for me and still are
I want you guys to bash me for maybe not staying on point or not making any sense but know this. I tried and I will definitely learn from the feedback I receive here. I am staying for the long run and I'm not here to pussy out.
Let's begin..
Indeed.. Ahh that must be it. Of course! The air flowing through my medium sized hair, moving my almost viking beard along it's path as I looked through the tough clouds to find the exact three stars, shaped the exact same way as I used to see back home growing up. Ahh Yes! "Am I imagining things? Or is it just a mere illusion of mind while a light up a cigarette hastily taking my view back up to the stars again. Yes! There they were, after a few minutes of staring into the sky while vehicles passed by. There they were, looking back at me, I realized that I am not hallucinating anymore.

Background: I am 21 year old international student in Canada trying to get into Business school and with high hopes to make it one day. At least that was my initial plan upon moving here almost 3 years ago. No family here what so ever, one close friend whom I've known since kindergarten, we came along this journey together.
As time went by, things got tougher, responsibilities got bigger and bigger and then last year late September 22nd my dad passed away (Unexpectedly) leaving my mom all alone. I get it! It happens, sooner or later everyone leaves us or at least.. me. In case you're wondering why I could not go back home to visit in time is b/c at the time I did not have a return visa, measuring the options all by myself, the conclusion was that "If I go back, there is no way I could deal with all the emotions and at the same time prepare for my midterms/exams, leave my job (at the time) suddenly. This would all in return be pretty heavy to deal with since I am here carrying the weight of 5 other people on my shoulders who have hopes attached with me that one day.. one day I will support them, I will be there way out of their misery. Although, now I think that I should've taken the leap for my dad. Maybe? That is the question I'll be stuck answering for a very long time.
Yes! Why must I be the only one to deal with all this you ask? Well, it was partly my choice and the discipline taught by those people that I am here currently surviving and trying to better my self in every aspect of life. That it where TRP comes into play.
Note: My deepest apologies to those of you who expected something other then what's written in this post. The truth is I am still learning, applying, selecting, testing, surviving, partly enjoying friendly hangouts? Hmph! Not sure of that yet. I am trying to contemplate the voice of many other blue pill conditioned people who are too scared to either learn under the fear of rejection they have trapped themselves into.. Willingly..
The shit a person has to deal with emotionally and financially after moving abroad by him/herself cannot be explained in words of my mouth as I have yet to reach that level of knowledge. Don't get me wrong, I am in no way trying to disrespect my current country of residence as it has taught me many things in the past 2.8 years of living here that I might never have learned if I were somewhere else, perhaps, back home.
The knowledge I receive from this community is priceless. I believe, it is not the content you read that is going to help you in your path but your own perception of it. I believe it is important to know that there is parts of everything hidden deep within that can be scavenged and put to use in a far better manner then one can think of in a heart beat.
A Way Out: In terms of this title which took me several minutes to think of, the reason this paragraph is named that way is because in the long run, I want a way out of this self proclaimed misery I believe I am in. In fact, I believe that the younger I was when I saw life slapping me directly at my face, the further it opened up my mind to new things that could be researched and analysed and put to good use.
TRP related aspects
- Confidence (Applied to other aspects as well)
- Questioning a female's mindset
- Observing that mindset and acting upon it when the opportunity presents it self (Applied to other aspects as well)
- Respecting one's self (Applied to other aspects as well)
- Respecting bros out there trying to make it for a better future no matter with women, ex's, guilt (Applied to other aspects as well)
- Building power (Applied to other aspects as well)
- The priceless knowledge shared by many people here who have made it themselves but still seek betterment with the ambition to improve others along the way
Yes I want to learn. Yes I want to conquer. Yes I want to make a name for myself and become an example for many people around the world. We all have the potential and we can all pursue happyness. We all have the potential to change the "y" in "happyness" to an "i" and smile upon it.
We all have a mirror at our place right? If not, we could definitely look at our shadow in the night and say "Hey bud, you're here with me,. Although I cannot see your face, I know who you are deep within. Let's continue and prove to the world that we (Body and mind) are truly capable of achieving our goals, we can all give it our best shot.
TL;DR
Escaping guilt and self proclaimed horror can be achieved. Improve yourself and always keep learning and applying. In the end, HAH who am I kidding, there is no end, be limitless and conquer your fears.
No I don't suffer with depression, although, after bring a lurker here for the past month, I did realize that I need to make "Lifting" one of my top priorities b/c the gym is where I can let go of anger and appreciate a nice body pump. TRP made it that way, TRP will make other women related way better as well, and already has but I won't talk about that in this post unless the opportunity presents it self in a later post.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
