It's a challenge for yourself, no need to post here. Today, I got an idea, i googled and was amazed about the results.

Google and find as many as possible articles where man sacrifices his life for a woman/ wife.

Okay, now do the opposite and find as many articles where woman sacrifices her life for man/husband.

Moral of the story: remember the saying, treat people how you want to be treated? Well, cross out- sacrificing yourself for a woman, because she would not do the same for you.

Edit: I actually remember an old story from my excursion when I was younger. I don't remember where i heard it, i think somewhere in Czech Republic or Germany. There was a couple, that people called romeo and juliet. Same story, parents are against and so on. So they decided to commit suicide by jumping off the cliff. Man jumped first, woman saw him jump and decided not to.
