Field report: with quarantine restrictions beginning to relax, and the world going back to some semblance of normal, I'll admit it, I slacked off during the quarantine. But after finishing Rational Male vol.2 last week I re-doubled my efforts.
Out of bed at 5am, ~2 mile run around the block. Followed by a cold shower, a little extra effort in the hygiene department, and a proper breakfast before heading off to work.
...and the results already speak for themselves. As if a mass email went out to all the women at the office I think I've had a dozen at least chime in:
"u/SoggyBeefNoodle you're looking good today, did you get a haricut?"
No haircut, just took the extra 1 minute to style my hair.
"u/SoggyBeefNoodle I never realized you had such bright eyes"
Girl at the front desk actually said that, took an extra 1 minute to put my contacts in instead wearing my glasses.
Effort matters Gentlemen, it's easy to overlook, but it fucking matters!
