Alright guys. I'm gonna learn you a Zen lesson. There seems to be a lot of bitching, hopelessness, and misogyny from new bloods of late, and a commensurate increase in TRP brothers shaking their heads in disbelief and telling them to man up. Let's not let a divide between the understanding and the bewildered, or disputes in technique or philosophy, fuck us up.

My handle on here is Feng Hsui. A great man in the Family Tradition, but not well known to outsiders (like Ummon or Chao Chou). Luckily, he has a koan for exactly this situation.

Feng taught the assembly, set up an atom of dust, and the nation flourishes. But the old peasants weep.

Do not set up an atom of dust, and the nation perishes. Then the old peasants sing and dance in the street.

This is a bit hard to get. Luckily, we have Hsueh Tou to give us a way in. He appends to this story, "Hsueh Tou stood up and said, 'Are there any monks here, willing to live together and die together?'"

Now what the fuck does that mean? In Zen, to say these two were born together and die together is almost an insult. It means we come from the same school, and we die in the same school. To say these two were born together, but die apart, is to say that at least one of them is enlightened. He's his own man, and has gone to a place where you can't follow through words and ideas.

This is similar to what Hsueh Tou is saying He is examining the story by asking if there's anyone here who wants to be a brave, respected, beastmode, Zen master. Who will swear loyalty to the end. Such a person is worthless to us, except as material to be worked on.

Thas is why the old peasants cry. When there's the great coronation, when the nation is strong and there's plenty of crafty ministers and great heroes, it means we NEED a strong nation, and it also means our nation will inevitably get weaker and decline in the chaos. On the other hand, the chaps only benefits those who are poised to benefit from it. Cf: antifragility.

They dance and sing when the nation perishes cuz they don't need a nation. They're too busy getting pussy and harvesting crops.

What are you doing? Why do you want to slay puss and actualize masculine power? To prove something to your oneitis, your TRP brothers, or yourself? That last is the worst. But there's nothing really wrong with wanting recognition and validation. If you know that you do.

Or do you want to slay puss and actualize your power cuz you're a fuckin man, and Humphrey Bogart, Hemingway, and monster trucks just CALL TO YOU?

The Red Pill is an awesome school and an awesome tool. But it's just words. Words you can't understand except by reference to your own experience. All you can ever understand is yourself.

So what's the goal, fellas? To get legit players to cosign your fears and heartbreak? To brag about your achievements? Or to learn, to suffer, to think out loud and become a better you?

The ascendancy of TRP means jack shit. GayLubeOil, Rollo, FamilyAlpha, redschool, mean jack shit. Those guys names carry credence cuz they are out living and growing and on display. Not because they have some magic status token. This thing is only about one thing. You. That's it. You and yourself and your world. There's only one goal here. Actualizing your own damn power and remaking the world by your own damn self. Every thing else is just an idea, a concept, that exists in your head. It's only on you to find your way through this world.

We're here if you want to count on us. We don't take brotherhood lightly. But if you can't count on you, how in the sweet fuck can you count on anything? This is your community. It's just a thing in your head, that you are responsible for, like everything else. Act like it.

Own your life. That is all.
