So, I was just back from London, from a trip I took with my team where we had to present our project for approval. The presentation had gone swimmingly and we now had more time and funding. Fantastic. I'd been in the coach next to my gf who was asleep whilst I was organising my gym routine for the next week. So far, everything sounds great, right? And then it hit me: I was surrounded by friends, had a girl who loved me, was fit, doing well financially, and yet, I suddenly felt depressed. I felt like everything people strive for was mine and, yet, it was not enough. Since, I have been changing a little more in my life, but in essence, this taught me that nothing is worth more value or can bring you more joy than yourself. Work on yourself. Make you proud and happy with you, and never stop, because at the end of the day, that is the only true way to be happy.
