Hello TRP, I have a question about how I lucked the fuck out.

I'm young and lucky enough to discover TRP at this stage of my life. So my mom got divorced from my dad (after having me), and she remarried my current step dad. He is rich, like 7 figures a year type stuff. We have three luxury cars, one of them a nice sports car. However, you guessed it, he is beta.

I remember when I was 6 he got me a hot wheels track thing and on the box there was an extension set or something and he went ALL the way to a toys r us 20 minutes away to get it. So how was my mom able to land him? He and I have a great relationship ect, but I think it's because my mom is incredibly controlling. What do you think happened here? He has so many other options due to his money even with his beta traits.
