I'm listening to the audio file for "The Rational Male" and found the part about Corey Worthington - the Alpha Buddha - interesting.

It resonates with my desire to be zen and unaffected by negative external factors such as opinions on me and rejection from women.

This part helped me realize the paradox I was constantly putting myself in. Constantly telling myself to ignore something was actually giving attention to it.

When I turned full attention to a personal goal - minor or major - or simply clearing my mind , all external factors ceased to affect my consciousness.

There are still things I think on such as approaching women since it triggers that fear of rejection. But this realization is helping me handle it better.

Do you think I'm on the right track?
