When girlfriends, friends, family members or colleagues are not consistently positive people in your life, do we remove them? Do I produce and reintroduce consistency from others by being consistent myself? I understand the benefits and importance of self improvement through lifting, education, and any other form. What I'm asking is this: Are even the ones we love and hold most dear always going to fail us? If so, is that alright as long as we recognize this and stay consistent to ourselves? IE Girlfriend doesn't know what she wants anymore. I'm consistent in my path and through example she comes to terms and understands my influence and consistency is what she needs and wants. Friends aren't sure of who they want to spend time with. My drive and passion for myself and what I want brings them back again through their own self understanding and thought.

Is this the reality of the world?

From my understanding despite me being so many valuable things, there are people who leave, or don't give me the proper treatment. For those that do leave it is there loss. For those that leave but I'd prefer them not to, aside from continuing on my own journey of improvement what should be done? I would never ask someone to stay in my life as a beggar.

But what are subtle or strong ways to remind or renew the idea that you hold value to others?
