Everyday. Everyday I wake up conflicted. Conflicted at what I’m getting up to do. Conflicted on why I’m doing it. Conflicted on whether doing what I am doing is necessary for the conflicted goal of where I want to be. My mindset is conflicted. Rooted deep inside of me there is already an answer. There is already an innate charge towards what I want to do. How do I properly calibrate what I want to do today for what I will want to do tomorrow? How do I create my own reality cycle? A cycle by which I want to live by. Will conflict ever end? Is satisfaction reliable? Will it last? Does satisfaction need to be constantly adjusted? Who is happy? What is happy? I wrote something a while ago on one of my instagram posts and I always look back at it as it never fails to answer any questions that I’ve ever had. That quote is, “Stick to the things that have never let you down”. Are constant efforts with delivered failures a sign that you should stop trying? Is there anything that someone will always fail at no matter what? Is there anything that someone will never truly succeed at no matter how much effort they put in? Are the best kinds of goals those that have no real end? Is happiness just about adapting to things that are constantly changing and adapting well? What amount of time do you spend in your day on things that are building blocks for your future self? Will a day come where I will stop asking myself questions? What causes me to think a lot, and moreover, overthink? Is this indicative of the drive to succeed? Is this indicative of depression, self-deterioration, and/or destruction? Does anything really just “fall into place”?
