OK, fellas. Let's start with-I may be beta'ing and want to turn it around with a potential LTR. Tonight's issue: talking on the phone. Background: GF on vacation, I have to work. She's chilling. We texted back and forth pretty much all day. Last couple of texts:
Me: I'm back at the house if you want to talk instead of text. I have had a very long day and will likely crash out soon.
Her: I'm just chilling reading my book! I don't blame you for crashing, you had quite the day.
My instinct is to text her: "Fair enough, good night then", and go dark.
We have a rendezvous set for the weekend. A little more background, she constantly tells me how handsome I am, takes care of me when I'm around, gives me the good lovin', and is a generally good girl. She had a very bad breakup last year along with the death of a loved one, so I tend to give her extra passes. How do I respond to THIS particular text?
Edit 1: Excellent points. I ended up replying with an 'OK' and left it at that. She came back with more texting. I'm simply going to relax, work on my own shit, and follow the 3/2 rule from here on out.
