A while ago, there was a sticky by a user who posted about how they would like to have a mentor- mentee program on the sub. I think they were an endorsed contributor or of the rp vanguard. I was wondering whatever happened to it.

Now i don't want to be ungrateful for this subreddit. I know that this place is for asking questions and I'm all for it. But i sometimes feel that i need guidance in areas other than game/intergender relations. And i find i don't have that kind of guidance some times. I'll be shooting arrows in the dark. Things like career situations, handling other people etc, i find I'm doing 'wrong' things again and again. Now i know there are books and subreddits and posts and sidebars, but nothing trumps like sincere advice from another person, who can see your situation objectively.

Now i would like to have something like that, but i'm not sure if or how i should go about achieving that. This, because there is nothing i can give in exchange for that guidance, except online karma points.

I'm sorry if the post seems abstract. It's just that today i find myself in a situation where i don't know what the fuck i should do. And it's not game related. If i try to detail it, it'll just be a wall of text and meaningless to some people.
