How would a person deal with a cringeworthy history of r/niceguys and r/whitrknighting type of stuff?

Personally I've not fully invested in either types of behavior, but I can't say I've never fallen trap to trying to win approval by doing weird beta shit a handful of times.

Do I just forget about it and move on? It seems pointless to try making amends with women who made it abundantly clear they are uninterested. So do I exile myself? What if I were to get with some chick and her friend tells some bullshit story about something the most lowest beta orbiter of myself had done?

The main problem is I would be embarrassed. Also, where I am at it seems like even when I'm on top of my game, one false move and I'm getting shut down for good. Very little room for error, very high male to female ratio. So I might not just be paranoid about a little potential embarrassment?

Mainly some hyper-frustration about, "oh you don't want to date, bye bitch f- you" in a niceguy^TM kind of way. Maybe not even that bad but I don't know how I would deflect if it were brought up.
